HOMEGROWN. boss Rossi. makes his Hot Creations debut as he drops four long-awaited cuts  across his ‘Get On The Floor’ EP. 

Emerging to become a regular fixture at key venues across the globe including Club Space, Printworks and Pacha  while playing for the likes of Music On and Paradise, London’s Rossi. continues to showcase his unique spin on  minimal-leaning house music and prove why many, including DJ Mag, tipped him as one to watch from the start. A  top-selling talent on Beatport, with releases via FUSE, No Art, Eastenderz and more, while recently launching his  label and platform HOMEGROWN., mid-July sees him head to iconic imprint Hot Creations as he uncovers a  selection of heavily-requested productions across his ‘Get On The Floor’ EP.

Each track  has seen a special moment in my sets over the past year and showcases my favourite feel-good dance  music styles. Fusing rumbling low-ends, slinking metallic drums and evolving electronic beneath hooky hip-hop samples, title  cut ‘Get On The Floor’ is a signature Rossi. track made for big dance floor moments, while ‘Mode’ is a skippy,  playful production bringing a bumping groove guided by trippy vox interjections. The B-side brings further fresh  flavours as ‘Pass The Blunt’ builds from crisp percussion arrangements and cheeky samples for a rolling terrace  number, before the slick ‘I Wanna Dance’ shapes up the package with another trademark slice of bubbling late 
night house.

As time goes by, the hotter it gets, the more hectic it gets, the more the story takes shape and becomes suitable for different scenarios. It looks like that no one understands what is at stake. But EDIP does. The Bucharest-based artist returns on Take Notes for his first solo EP on the label: 'Bout That C' is the result, and the wait was worth it. Sizzling electric shocks, hyperspeed shrewd minimal grooves, and embracing yet alluring vocals pave the way for a monstrous bassline and rampant kicks for a track crafted for pure dancefloor bliss. Next, titled '369' is a tight, trippy roller with hooky vox interjections, menacing drums, and lively percussions, all together in pure Take Notes' fashion. Don Brazo is one of a kind. His productions like „Klafuenf“ for the Berlin Club Label Ritter Butzke Studio was a nice and often played track, bringing the Summer-in-Berlin-feel to the Ravers on the dancefloor. Releases on other labels like aromamusic or Cube Tribe followed. He is a safe card for a nice dancefloor and so is his music. This time he stays funky , just like his style normally is, but he also manages to give his track a real techno feel. Its a nice piece of music for a packed saturday night club floor. „Feng Shui“ is not only a great trackname, its a reference to the function of Feng Shui, meaning a sound can change the feel of a room completely. Don Brazo definitely manages to bring a good vibe into the room of a good club with his „Feng Shui“.

While it’s quiet in the streets, it’s loud all over in the studios - one thing that no one can stop! For the 28th edition of ‚as usual.’ releases, we are onboarding three new faces with a distinctive sense for brisk underground music. On the main part, there’s one of Berlin’s highly demanded artists in these days - charming CASIMIR VON OETTINGEN, who brings tons of freshness with two originals of catchy minimal music. The remixers are YULIA NIKO, who had an enormous output in the recent times on labels like Deeperfect, Hottrax, Crosstown Rebels or Get Physical. And then there’s Zürich-based NADER who is a protagonist in the scene since the early 90’s and well-known in the city and above for his unique style. Welcome everybody for the ‚Brepps EP’. 

Casimir’s original of the title track feels like a cool shower on sweaty days and has everything that a non-categorizable minimal tune needs at these days. ‚Brepps’ stands out by finding the perfect alance between stripped-down rhythmics, low-boosting curves plus a sincere sweetness and humour.

Last but not least, we get lost once again with „Endlos“ resident Casimir’s ‚Dollop’ and we don’t want to find the exit. Light-footedly he seduces us into his world of profound sequences on shaking minimalistic rhythms - effective as hell. Timeless stuff that spends full satisfaction and catches us by the eternal passion for loops.
