Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

"Salzburg-born Demuja has previously released his smoky and soulful House music on the likes of Freerange Records, Toy Tonics, and Shall Not Fade, and his own MUJA imprint. On his latest EP, he cooks up four tracks comprising the many different moods of House, effortlessly crafting another timeless set of tracks. 

Opening cut 'Work My Body' sees supersized chords and hi-hats fuse for an emotionally raw and intense House track that will kick-start any party. 'Deep Inside Your Soul' follows, a warm track with deep, dubby kicks and washed-out late-night pads, topped off with a gorgeous vocal while elastic bass and snappy hits provide the perfect finishing touches. 

'Bonzai', a collaboration with Cologne-based PIV and Berg Audio associate Kolter, channels Chicago with its rasping analogue basslines and razor-sharp percussion before a lush breakdown leads into super classy territories. 'Piano Track' closes proceedings with dusty drums and wonky chords making for a tense and paranoid yet totally driving affair."

Dutchman Joey Daniel shows his class with a new EP on the vital Boogeyman label.

After more than a decade of organic growth from hard-working local legend to internationally recognised talent, the Dutchman is a master of his own sound. He has played everywhere from Music On to Sunwaves and his label SiO has become a go-to label since its launch last year. Releases from the likes of Guti, Cuartero, as well as of course himself, with music perfectly suited for sun-soaked summer terraces through to bustling basement rooms in winter. He can do it all from deep and slinky house to more minimal techno and plenty in between.

This one kicks off with the compelling Push The Mic, a fat house sound with fresh drum hits and warped synths. There is a dynamic percussive sprinkle up top next to plenty of great FX and ever more punchy drum funk. The Announcement is a slick and quick late night deep house jam that has balmy chords and freaky vocals stitched into the kinetic groove. Antonyms Strings closes down with another warm and futuristic house sound that is laced up with smooth chords and well designed drums and perc.
