Moxy Muzik hits release number 30 & boy its a big one! A new EP from Glasgow's underground hero Tiptoes. These are tunes that label head Darius Syrossian has been dropping for a while out on tour, with all who hear them desperate to get a copy. They finally arrive with a remix from lady of the moment, and PIV associate Kellie Allen. 

Tiptoes is a well respected figure who keeps a low profile. He doesn't do social media, but over the last 15 years his famously widescreen sets and top tunes on labels like Hustller Trax and SlothBoogie have made him a real favourite. 

Opener 'Cuss Tomato' is a brilliantly catchy and slinky house groove. Think Kerri Chandler when he has his foot on the gas. The vocal is full of soul and the seductive chord work brings warmth to the lively drums. It's a classy party starter, make no mistake. 

The equally fresh 'Put Sum Down On It' is another irresistible house cut with timeless vocals. The smooth drums and rich bass bounce up and down and lock you in for the ride. Both of these are sure fire and stylish winners.

Kellie Allen has signed to the influential PIV and played all the cult labels shows around Ibiza and at clubs like Fabric. She is a long time friend of Darius and really comes through here. Her take on 'Put Some Down On It' is more pumped up, with punchy, rubbery kicks and busy synths zipping about the mix, while the vocal stabs become more fiery.

Jamie Jones’ Hottrax readies their brand-new Various Artists EP series 'Tripleution', set to feature long-time Hottrax affiliates and brand new artists alike, adding to a discography that already boasts the likes of Patrick Topping, East End Dubs, Yousef, and many more alongside Jamie Jones himself. Landing this September, the first part of ‘Tripleution’ features Qubiko & Denis Ago, TacoMan and Sound Process, giving an essential look into the label’s high-quality catalogue. 

Italian duo Qubiko & Denis Ago deliver a mixture of house and minimal styles for their cut 'Danzer', with deep layers of sub-bass penetrating its percussive hooks. 'Arriba Abajo' sees TacoMan, a previous Hottrax visitor, build this futuristic track around revving synth levels and patches of grooving beats. Lastly, Sound Process comes with 'Dizzy Nights', pushing through distorted, dreamlike vocals which merge with an unrelenting, weighty bassline, leaving the EP with a continuing impact.

Scotland-born breakout artist Jamie G drops a fresh three-track EP on Jamie Jones's Hottrax label. 

Jamie G has swiftly captured the attention of industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Latmun and The Martinez Brothers, all of whom have been dropping his irresistible house sounds. His productions are powered by deep basslines with fresh drum programming and hooky vocal samples that bring plenty of attitude to the floor. For proof, look no further than this brilliant new three-tracker, 'What You Want'. 

'MMT' kicks off proceedings with a dark and moody atmosphere, stripped back to thudding kicks and sci-fi synths. Heavy House Society drops a high end collaboration between two heavyweights, Sidney Charles and Archie Hamilton for a standout two-tracker. On the Reset EP, they both deliver a pair of refined, groove-driven cuts that showcase the depth of their shared house and minimal house sensibilities.

'Reset' is built on a tight, swinging groove that fuses chunky basslines with crisp, shuffling percussion. Subtle chord stabs and atmospheric flourishes, inject depth and tension, while the stripped framework leaves space for momentum to build. Slick and modern, it's a hypnotic rollercoaster crafted with underground dancefloors in mind.

On the flip, 'The Future Is Now' keeps things locked to the floor with a punchy low-end foundation and rolling percussion. Carefully sculpted hi-hats and subtle vocal chops add texture, while atmospheric layers push it toward a futuristic edge. Both functional and elegant, it's the kind of tool that can elevate a set whether in the warm-up hours or peak-time pressure.
