A 90s baby with one foot still in the last century, but her mind searching for futures further than this one, Prerna was born and raised in North India and moved to London less than a year ago, but is already finding her place in the sounds of contemporary techno. Intuitive, intentional and sensitive to the physical manifestations of psychic energies, Prerna is a techno artist finding her signature sound through experimenting with instrumental and industrial synergies. 

It has been a journey to get to this level of layering, of building compositions both dense and textured but still ephemeral. “I like to have tracks that have a melody you can dance to, that’s why techno, techno is for dancing… it should be this beating heart, but there’s this melody where you can just leave yourself and let it go, and that connections of melody will take you throughout those beating hearts,” Prerna told me, and throughout her debut EP 90's Acid, something is being pulled on a spiritual plane, something that makes your body need to respond.
