The Rev. Bill Carter of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit talks about the 50th anniversary of the first Jazz Mass in America, by Vince Guaraldi. Carter has transcribed the Mass, and, along with the Presbybop Quartet, he will present the Mass at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at the church, 300  School St., Clarks Summit. There will be a pre-service talk by Guaraldi's biographer, Derrick Bang, at 9:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary. More information at fpccs.org
