First song I am posting in 2024!

This is what I wrote in 2013 when I first thought about posting Nothing But (The Sound) but decided to take it down from the cloud short after. 

"Nothing But (The Sound)" is Plastic Inevitable's first song since 2011! Plastic Inevitable is Marty Procaccio, AKA Blankets, working the sound and Sneekie San Salvador tweaking the sound. The recording for this song began in 2011 in the bedroom recording studio of Marty in Santa Clara California using GarageBand and a whole bunch of pedals. The song was completed in 2013 with vocals recorded in Sneekie San Salvador's mobile Toyota recording unit.

Now it is 11 years later...

I am amazed that I found the vocal stems. I had to look though an old hard drive to find them. I did not feel like digging through more old hard drives for the original track stems. Big thanks to Russell for taking the time to mix the vocals and master the track. I told Russell, when I mixed the original instrumental I was listening to a lot of shitgaze bands at the time. 

May you find many gems when you dig into your past.

Theme exclusively made with native Music Studio 2 instruments.

Composed during the year 2015 in my walks in this monument of my city.

 It is the oldest palace in use in Europe with 1,000 years old in its oldest part, and it is full of history that you can feel.

I wanted to capture the beauty and grandeur of the site where Game of Thrones was filmed (In the series it is the Palace of Dorne).

In this and final revision, the wind instruments have been further enhanced in certain phases to further mark the melody.

It is one of those places that say you have to see before you die.

Architektur als „Paradiesmaschine“ – darum geht es in Niklas Goldbachs Ausstellung. Im Künstlergespräch mit Adolf Winkelmann, moderiert von Mathias Wittmann (kaufmännischer Geschäftsführer HMKV), wurde am Mittwoch, dem 10. April 2024 dieses Thema unter verschiedenen Aspekten beleuchtet.

Mithilfe von 1,7 Mio. LEDs schreibt die Spitze des Dortmunder U täglich bewegte Bilder in den Himmel. „Ganz im Geiste des Erbauers Emil Moog hat sich der U-Turm in eine Lichtplastik verwandelt und zur wichtigsten Bildmarke der Stadt entwickelt,“ so Adolf Winkelmann über seine „Fliegenden Bilder“. Im Talk mit Künstler Niklas Goldbach sprechen beide über den Erbauer des Dortmunder U's Emil Moog, dem Entwerfer des Golden U's Ernst Neufert, sowie über Architektur(en), deren Machtpotenzial und wie bildende Künstler*innen mit vorgefundenen Strukturen umgehen.

The music project "Present Paradox" by Dortmund-based David Kleinekottmann provides insights into the often opaque nature of the present. The result is a fusion of melancholic and danceable elements, expansive and intimate at the same time, diverse and yet familiar.
