Philipp Ruhmhardt - Faust (Original Mix) [Tronic]

Christian Smith releases his third solo album titled “Input-Output” on his own Tronic imprint. Consisting of 11 original tracks, each one embodies Christians message of creating “real” techno, with powerful percussions and melodic basslines throughout.
A more than fitting entrance, ‘Destination Unknown’ provides the listener with a masterfully constructed synth melody perfectly complimented by a haunting vocal sample that is certain to sound out across the world’s dance floors. Fusing together sounds from a number of sub-genres, Christian’s minimal masterpiece ‘Explanation’ is sure to be a favourite for those who prefer a lighter shade of techno, whereas ‘Input/Output’s’ fierce kick drums are reminiscent of his stellar releases on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. 
‘Input/Output’ is an impeccable offering from one of techno’s most talismanic figures holding within it a different blend of sounds to suit everyone’s musical palate. Each production wonderfully weaves in and out of one another yet never straying too far away from the trademark Christian Smith sound. ‘Air Castle’s’ electro esque synthesizers flutter throughout yet listeners are treated to contrasting sounds from ‘Release (Stringz)’ dark and atmospheric harmonies.
Christian’s remarkable ability to conjure varying sounds from an array of different influences is unique to say the least. A talent that eludes many within his field, it is this exact trait that has elevated Christian to mesmeric heights and in turn making him one of the most sought after acts in house and techno.
Staying completely humble in his approach to each and every project that he embarks on, ‘Input/Output’ is set to further reiterate Christian’s unquestionable stature as one of underground music’s most influential characters.

Since his first release on Tronic back in 2013 with his ‘Move On’ EP, he has since become a valued member of the Tronic family, with multiple releases hitting the Beatport charts, including his first album ‘Intensity’ on the label back in 2014 which also had a killer remix from Pig&Dan.
Eric is releasing two separate EP’s in the run up to the album as sneak peek releases. The first due out on the 19th December with ‘Chord Challenge / Resistance Part 1’, which will be followed up in January with the 2nd package including his only collaboration track “Loaded Dice” on the album with label boss Christian Smith .
The full LP ‘Sound Traveler’ due out on the 20th February, features 14 original tracks which show Eric’s eagerness for experimentation. Providing full bodied beats and rolling basslines, closing the gap between tech-house and techno.
Fans of those heavy hitters, won’t be disappointed with tracks such as ‘Circus (Destroyed)’ bubbling up slow with a thick bassline and climatic drums and kicks. However, we see his more melodic side in the mix with atmospheric builders such as ‘Loaded Dice’ whilst “Busy Man” and “Sound Traveler” bring some future electronica into the mix.

This ep for Amazing Records, brilliantly titled &#8220;Awesome&#8221;, shows the neapolitan talent coming up with 3 infectiously danceable tracks, each one with a distinctive feeling. &#8220;Paintball&#8221;&#8216;s fluid bass line and conga rolls are matched by sneaky fills and soft background pads that pave the way for a vibrantly uplifting percussion melody that keeps spinning round and round. &#8220;Mind and the nature&#8221;&#8216;s tight acid funky bass and choir-like vocals welcome a whirlwind of shuffled percussions that remind the listener of the endlessly reliable minimal techno quintessential rhythm. Yet, that ever familiar beat fits in a new light and is taken to the next level, which is what Irregular Synth does best, shaping sounds and visions into a differently challenging perspective. &#8220;Glory Hole&#8221; boasts an overloaded analogue orgy: the bass is so huge it&#8217;s almost all encompassing, and it spreads all over the stereo pan, while the synth chords gently fill the air waves.
