The weirdo underground live-acid-house duo of Ed Service and Jack Madin aka SHOUSE often invite local singers and musicians to collaborate when bunkered down in their Melbourne studio. 'Love Tonight' is an amalgamation of this working environment, whilst being a cheeky parody and adorable homage to classic ’80’s celebrity extravaganzas like ‘We Are The World’.

The boys have teamed up for their first collective effort on Phobiq and this collection of tracks is a perfect showcase of classic sounds making their return to the scene. 
 The EP opens with &#8220;Swedish Superficial Bimbos&#8221; and goes straight for the jugular with its bouncy bass, busy percussion and dominating chords. &#8220;Kopad&#8221; takes things to a completely different direction with a definite nod to Detroit, letting the subtle arrangement and nostalgic elements do the talking. The next track picks right up from there as a continuation of sorts, going for a more straightforward approach while retaining the old-school elements. Florian Meindl&#8217;s interpretation of the track completely flips things around the brings more House-iness to the table with a snappy rhythm section and optimistic chords. 
 Sealing the deal, we have &#8220;KLIN&#8221; returning things to regular status. As expected, a dystopian vibe emanates from the synth warfare and dislocated stabs as the track grinds away with busy hats and ghastly effects.

Analytic comes back with a new figure in the family, label boss Markantonio brought directly from Spain Maae. The Spanish producer is born and raised in the Barcelona techno scene, he began his Dj Career in 2000 until 2010 when he started his own label Metodiq. Today he continues his collaborations and productions on different labels like MB Elektronics, Rhythm Converted, Driving Forces, !Organism and many more. Now is the time for Analytictrail and Maae took to Neapolitan label a fresh EP called Close To Ground that includes four original tracks.

Close to the ground is the namesake track of the EP and is a classic underground straight Techno track made by old school chords, heavy bassline and distorted nasty kick. 

Klon is a Techno spacey bouncing track, made by a plastic groove surrounded by synth bells and Detroit styles chords. 

Private Mod is the right mix of classic Techno track with rounding deep bass and strong kick fused with house vocal melodies from 90s.

Resolution has a pumped kick and dark bass, the listener can be dropped in a timeless journey driven by the Chicagos Techno school chords.

For sure another top quality work released by one of the most representative labels in the music industry and produced by a very good musician that deserves respect of all Techno lovers out there.

Alex teams up with the Lowboys for this twofold offering and the title track&#8217;s frantic claps and busy arrangement set the tone, leaving metallic percussion to provide the momentum and evolving synths to reinforce the claustrophobic vibe. &#8220;Warm Pattern&#8221; takes it from there with some tasty chord action and a stomping rhythm section that leaves just enough space for the hypnotic atmospherics.

Marco Resmann returns to Watergate after a productive stint at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town with two stellar cuts featuring local heroes Deep Aztec and Black Soda. Tack on a remix from the one and only Oliver Huntemann and another revision from Resmann himself and you have the ‘Babylon Side’ EP.
Teaming up to kick things off, Resmann, Black Soda and Deep Aztec embrace the cultural sounds of Africa's organic percussion and vocal prowess to create a tour de force tune perfectly balance between flashing club lights and vast open skies. Following suit, ‘Abadala’ sees Marco again with Deep Aztec for a lush ride into deep emotional spaces by applying mesmerizing syncopated rhythms and spellbinding vocals ideal for deeper or more sentimental dance floor moments.

Up next is Techno legend Oliver Huntemann who, playing after Resmann earlier this year at the 15 years of Watergate event at Warung Beach Club in Brazil enjoyed his set and the two hit it off, so logically he was asked to lend his trademark sound for a revision of ‘Babylon Side’ and he twists the original into a heavy Techno belter complete with sinister sonics and fever inducing sirens. Wrapping things up is Marco Resmann himself with his own take on ‘Babylon Sides’ and delivers a wild and twisted version of gargantuan low end and psychedelic shimmers of the original vocal resulting in a killer tune with a ton of attitude.
