In between our hefty physical release schedule of 2016 finds us on familiar territory: some of today’s highly noted artists will be contributing to our very first (of many) dub compilations. We’re very excited to get this new project off the ground and are thrilled for you to be part of it.

The compilation not only showcases the original sound of our artists, but also some anthemic reworks that deserve the almost necessary vinyl-only treatment. Instead, we’ve been investing all our time and energy in treating our followers with some high-end digital files before we commence with our black wax routines.

BunZer0, Belgium’s psychonaut returns after his highly successful ‘King of the Lion’ release, the North-American Elefant Doc & Dillard finally team up, dub masters Digid & Dubbing Sun strike a pose, Quantum Soul does what he does best and even the kiwi’s Perverse join in on a signature skanker only they can build.

‘Liberation’ by BunZer0 lets you travel in a space of lively wobbles and tripped-out samples all heading towards a long-lasting meltdown. Elefant Doc & Dillard’s traditional sound in ‘A Way Of Living’ allows you to meditate on an authentic dub palette that moves through air like smoke. Elefant Doc’s dedicated formula sticks to the following original jams, which immediately put you on clouds that float to higher regions. Digid & Dubbing Sun follow up with a classy anthem stepping with confidence – and which leads you to the path of Jah. Remixing tracks like ‘A Way Of Living’ makes Quantum Soul fuse his dub technology effortlessly. His take on playing with vibrant elements will remind a select few of his old-school sound on labels like Dubbed Out & Dubting. Perverse manages to close down the first compilation with their darkened take on dub music containing a healthy dose of distortion and madness.

After hearing all this wonderful dub material we’ve decided to step down from our regular outlook on dubstep. For everyone fan of the sound, the Pressed Records camp cannot wait to share all this material with you in August!
