this song is about my father, coming to terms with loss and the denial and bargaining I found in the grief while growing up. This song started in kimchi vc, and me and faith just brainstormed track ideas, with me working on the drums and faith sorting the chord progression and ambiences. This track is heavily built upon samples from Bon Iver, Faith's older music, Stonelands by Paark and various old bits from lifeline aswell. 

holy spirit is the title track of my second EP, featuring clayekea, little faith, evangeline and grandfather forest. It is a project I've been working on about love and loss since before me and eva put out lifeline. coming sept 1st!

This kinda captures my philosophy at the moment with my life and I just really liked the notion.
It's also a little about parasocial relationships and how people try to give advice for things like mental health. I try to think of it like this: I can't tell you how to see a reason to keep going, why you should exist, how to find meaning, etc, but I hope, in time, things may emerge or you may notice things that can make those dull moments feel worthwhile.

Today somebody I worked with passed away, and while her last few years alive were not the best, i'm glad I may have been able to ease her suffering even if only a little.
