Music that hits all the right nerves – P.K has successfully managed to wow the crowds through her distinct brand of hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul music

Born in Maywood, Illinois, P.K’s interest in music can be associated with her desire to go down the same road as her father; a singer who ventured into the music industry in the 60’s after signing with Chess Records. She believes that having a mentor who already has a comprehensive knowledge on the ins and outs of the music industry can really help her in her quest to make it to the big time.

Currently residing in Chicago, P.K has a lot on her plate, and she is liking every bit of it. During the many years of being associated with the industry, she recalls her show titled Lady’s of the Chi at the Rap Factory as the one which has been the highlight of her career so far. This was her first solo show, one which announced herself on the stage, and allowed her to meet and connect with other aspiring female artists from her hometown. She has also opened shows for Bo Deal, Bone Crusher, the Diamond of Crime Mob, and L Streetz. 

Inspired by the likes of Da Brat, Missy Elliot, and Rah Digga, P.K regularly hosts intimate as well as hip-hop and club sets for audiences to catch a glimpse of just what sort of music she is capable of playing.

She is currently working on recording new tracks and putting out visuals to accompany her sick beats which have garnered a lot of praise from members of the crowd. She is also working on her plan to establish an entertainment company, complete with a web presence.
