The Morocco-born, France-based DJ, producer and founder of the Laisse tomber les filles collective has crafted an ever-evolving fusion of traditional sounds and Italo Body Music. On No Borders, she develops her soundscape, leading the listener on a path sown with dark atmospheres and heady melodies. Zaatar seamlessly blends the organic tone of Middle Eastern drums with the coldness of EBM synths, creating an entrancing blend. Throughout the project, the tension builds, with kicks getting harder and heat rising on the dancefloor. No Borders lives up to its name, by offering a unique sonic landscape that takes down all barriers.

Our label offshoot Human Endeavour ready their next release: a heady, potent brew of club sounds from Middlesbrough DJ, producer and label head REES. 

Marking the label’s most club-ready outing to date, and signalling a venture into darker musical realms for the Magic Ritmo co-boss, the three tracks on 'Echo Ritual' connect the dots between electro, EBM and wave.

A departure from the Italo, leftfield house and trance-soaked sounds heard on his previous releases for the likes of Permanent Vacation, Bordello A Parigi and Palms Trax's CWPT, ‘Echo Ritual’ charges straight out the gates with its euphoric, whirring synths that ring out over an infectious chugging bass line. 

‘Northern Chug’ follows suit, taking cues from visceral body music and heavy, stomping electro, before REES ups the tempo for closing track ‘Venom’; another deadly dose of slithering electro fuelled by biting, metallic synths and razor sharp percussion.

With their unique sense of how to shake a dancefloor, they crafted carefully the music to club heaters, gathering UK bass hoovers with textured basslines. And as long as a journey is never made alone, they welcomed aboard Smogo, BNJ’s headmaster for a powerful fast techno remix of ‘Lucid Mirage’, alongside the strong-hitting knowledge of Anastasia Zems’ indie dance music, and the deep tech, trance flirting experience of the mighty Audrey Danza.

“Voodooridoo” is the debut EP of the collab between Radial Gaze and Pyrame. The result of what had to happen when the two friends finally met in person earlier this year.

Indeed, over a 2 months period, the two electronic musicians quickly hit the ground and regularly caught up at Thisbe Recordings´ HQ in Berlin-Mitte where ideas kept flowing and got recorded. They blent each other´s recipes to produce unpreceded music for both of them. Pyrame´s brain-sticking melodies and basslines as well as odd organic instrumentation found in his studio meet Radial Gaze´s punchy riffs on acid, signature tribal percussions, and brain-washing arpeggiated patterns.

Out of this time in the studio emerged three original tracks. First, “Outrageous” because this is how well the two got on with each other from the first day onwards. “Voodooridoo” came next and was so packed with ideas that the two fellows had to slim down their production at that time. Such a creative process was calling for a third tune, and that one morning when Pyrame came into the studio and shouted “Boa Boa” while Radial Gaze was already working on another acid trippy pattern paved the way for their third track. Their collaborative work and enthusiasm did the rest and their first collab EP was wrapped up.

Orchid joins the EP by remixing the title track into an uptempo rework of the original.

For the third label's release, Clouzer returns to Distant Gaze with ""Call of the Abyss,"" a six-track EP featuring three originals alongside three remixes from acclaimed artists Damon Jee, Zakmina, and Berlin's emerging talent, Zee Mon.

At the helm of the EP is Clouzer's captivating journey, ""Voices from the Abyss,"" extraterrestrial echoes and pulsating broken beats, embarking on an exploration into the depths of the unknown. The EP's second track emerges as a powerful stage presence, guided by the haunting vocals of Valentin Henning. Blurred and delayed textures immersing the listener in a mind-altering experience. Pulsating rave energy of ""Perpetual"" fuses cosmic elements, broken beats, and dark disco bassline, embodying Clouzer's distinctive sonic identity.

Adding to the EP's allure are three remixes, each offering a unique interpretation. Zee Mon's rendition of ""Perpetual"" channels darkwave energy, infusing the track with an irresistible pulse, a primetime banger on vibing dance-floor. Damon Jee's remix of ""Stalactites"" delivers his trademark full-throttle dance-floor oriented dark disco, elevating the EP to the next level of intensity.
