A transmission materialised in our inbox.  Initially veiled in suspicion, this clandestine missive tantalised us with it's cryptic origins.   I mean you just dont ignore emails with subject a title like; "Your Prize Awaits!" do you??

Trepidation aside, we delved in, this is a dub techno mix from a source unknown, known only as AARO.  With a few new and older recognisable tracks we can only surmise that it is someone with their eyes (and ears) wide open.

Lets hope this is the first on many disclosed mixes becasue we like what we hear.

After World War II, 32,000 tons of ammunition containing about 11,000 tons of poisonous substances were flooded in the Baltic Sea.

At the moment,
real concentrations are so small that they could only be determined by using the most sensitive instruments. However, trace concentrations can also have a negative impact on marine organisms - tumors, gene disorders. There is no complete clarity on the scale of the threat yet, but research is ongoing... [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 86th release — Mountain Altai VA: Dragon’s Teeth Rocks. Dub Techno Star Collection, Vol. 6

On the banks of the Katun stand the Dragon’s Teeth — stone ridges shaped like petrified guardians. Legend says these are ancient warriors, frozen in time by the spirits and destined to protect the mountains and the river. They pierce the earth like anchors of eternity, holding the balance of space itself. Even the wind here sounds different — like the slow, steady breath of stone. Their silhouettes resemble the fangs of a giant dragon, and when the wind whistles between them, it feels as if the stone giants are whispering to one another in their secret language. Vol. 6 is an epic about the guardians of rock — the Dragon’s Teeth Rocks, the stone gates of Altai where nature itself takes the form of myth.

The sixth chapter of Mountain Altai VA is dedicated to these stone sentinels. Nine tracks — nine voices of the frozen giants.

“Goldene Berge” — “Golden Mountains” — a title that itself sounds like a spell. In this piece, the warm tone of guitar glows like sunset on the peaks, silence before the night, the breath of eternity. The music flows like molten gold down the slopes of Altai.

Mountain Altai VA: Dragon’s Teeth Rocks is the sixth chapter in our Altai chronicle — where sound rises from the depths to the peaks. The Dragon’s Teeth are among the most mysterious places in Altai: ancient stone ridges towering over the Katun like silent sentinels. The wind sings through their gaps like a flute; the river crashes below; and the echo becomes the language of the mountains themselves. Every tone is the vibration of ancient breath, every shadow — a reflection of what came before us.

This chapter of the collection, created in celebration of the third anniversary of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], speaks of the power of stone, the memory of the earth, and the ability of sound to convey what words cannot. Nine tracks become living artifacts — fragments of an ancient civilization that come alive the moment they are heard. Here, dub techno becomes the language of the mountains — solid, slow, eternal. This is music written by time itself. Energy that can be heard — and felt with every cell.

On Sept. 15, 2017, Cassini made its final approach to the giant planet Saturn. It dived into the planet's atmosphere, sending science data for as long as its small thrusters could keep the spacecraft's antenna pointed at Earth. Soon after, Cassini burned up and disintegrated like a meteor.
