Collapse Of The Sightless Age is a concept album that imagines a future history of Earth in which all of humanity is forced underground following environmental collapse, and is the sequel to The Primary Phase Principle's debut album, Echoes Of The Mechatronic Age.

Following the fall of the Mechatronic Order, the populace of this subterranean world are content to accept the Machine as their unequivocal caretaker, so much so that it does not even register to them as a machine at all. Rather, it is perceived as the very fabric of their world – a natural construction that is eternally constant. That is, at least until the New Mechanists uncover the truth.

Influences for this concept include The Machine Stops by E. M. Forster, Isaac Asimov’s robot stories, and Thief II: The Metal Age.

The music is instrumental, dark, and slow paced. It was produced with a strong focus on sound design, resulting in a striking blend of organic sounds contrasted against a backdrop of gritty and chilling synths. This provides a listening experience that feels both analog and digital all at once, mirroring the design of the fictional world that the music represents.

Each track represents a different episode in the collapse of this fictional society.

TPPP's music attempts to create and convey fictional worlds and stories, without the use of lyrics. Each track is thoughtfully crafted, often with highly dynamic structures and instrumentation that tends toward blending dark electronic tones with bright organic melodies. 

The focus is on producing cohesive concept albums rather than standalone singles.
