In order to create awareness around safety in the outdoors the Hikers Network Search and Rescue squad has created the #opwhiteflag campaign -  it is not a fundraising drive, but rather an awareness campaign, where we hope folks will post their "cool" pictures on social media, thereby creating the necessary exposure.

They want to let criminals know that they are fed up with the status quo and hope to apply pressure on SANparks, SAPS, CoCT and Cape Nature, so that they can improve on their service delivery.
