Rooted in bass music and sound system culture—including jungle—her sets weave together ethnic and oriental elements with indigenous sounds to create deeply immersive dancefloor experiences.
She gravitates toward modern jungle with its irregular drum patterns and ritualistic IDM, crafting magical grooves within heavy bass environments.
As a core member of Tribal Connection, a collective that has been at the forefront of Japan’s jungle scene for over 15 years, her club performances are marked by rapid-fire mixing and high-impact bass drops that steadily raise the energy.
In recent years, she has expanded her sonic explorations to include the floating, immersive qualities of techno, Goa, and psytrance, continuously evolving her sound and style. Representing Tokyo Japan, please welcome Halu. Links and tracklist below.

Park Shadow is the project of Finnish producer Joonas Lehtinen, a figure whose roots stretch back to the late '90s tracker era. A very personal vision of drum and bass, this project reflects a balance between natural formlessness and urban grit.

With previous releases across the scene, Park Shadow arrives on Metalheadz with the 'Altitudez EP'. Goldie's interest in the title track set the course for an EP that draws on the roots of jungle and drum & bass while exploring its outer edges.

Across its four tracks, the EP unfolds as a journey - beginning in foggy melancholy, shifting into bittersweet, rave-charged energy, rising toward brighter, more uplifting tones and closing with an almost dreamlike sense of release. Breakbeat-heavy throughout, the 'Altitudez EP' is a release that carries the spirit of jungle into new terrain.
