Missperception’s passion for the underground scene has been growing for the past 3 decades now and over those years she has been influenced by many different genres of music which have helped mold her own unique sound.
She first hit the decks back in 2000 performing at bars and clubs, as well as free parties and on pirate radio bringing different styles of underground music to her listeners. In 2004 she decided to turn her attention towards music production and attended a music technology course for 2 years, learning how to produce & engineer while building her own studio along the way.

It was evident to her peers that the hard work she’d put in and obvious talent would not go unnoticed and so it was no surprise when she went on to become resident DJ for ‘JOY’  dropping live sets which included her own material and remixes, Missperception soon found herself performing along side legendary artists such as Joey Beltram , Gayle San, Speedy J, The Advent and many other great performers.

Loving all aspects of underground music she is not one to shy away from stepping outside of her comfort zone and experimenting with different styles, sounds and genres. 

Missperception has had releases on various labels including Tekknik Exprimental, Mastertraxx, Boobs & Loops, Algorithm and One Shoe Records.

She now runs her own label G Punk Records releasing underground Hip Hop.
