This concept came to life back in December 2021. Around that time the Netherlands went into lockdown as sole EU country. It is times like this that allow me to work on a set without a clear ending or deadline. It was finalized around 4 months later but now I feel the time is right to unleash this beast! 😈

The goal was to create another extended Ritual set. This time with a focus on a more intricate and delicate atmosphere. Expect Dark sounds, often influenced by samples out of nature, and an organic ambiance. It features a vast array of my favorite artists with a high variety of chapters and diversity. I consider this to be the most ambitious set in my 5 years of DJing. 
It will take you on an introspective journey into the depths of Darkpsy/Psycore/Hitech & Slambient.

It is generally recognized that the spoken word has a relatively deep power in people's minds, both positively and negatively.

When a sick person hears words of encouragement, a new strength seems to take over his soul, giving him more optimism and security in an imminent recovery.

That is why everyone should be very careful about everything that enters their ears and especially what comes out of their mouths.

The word mantra means sound and where there is a vibration, there is bound to be a sound.
So that means, the whole existence is a kind of sound, or a complex amalgamation of sounds, or the whole existence is an amalgamation of multiple mantras.

Of these, a few mantras or a few sounds have been identified, which could be like keys.
If you use them in a certain way, they become a key to open up a different dimension of life and experience within you. So, every mantra activates a particular kind of energy in a different part of the body.
But without the necessary awareness, just merely repeating the sound, will only bring dullness to the mind. Any repetition of the sound always makes your mind dull. Only when it is done with proper awareness and with an exact understanding of what it is, a mantra could be a very powerful tool.

Some of those mantras have remained until today, thanks to the Mystery Schools which have managed to keep something of that sacred language spoken by the Ancestors, in the form of divine names and mysterious words.

That's why those same Initiates, mainly Hindus, Tibetans and Mayans, emphasize the idea that our body and soul are the result of a Cosmic Alphabet and that each phoneme vibrates in certain regions of the organism, acting therapeutically and magically on the individual.

In other words, we are a musical instrument that should vibrate with the most tremendous cosmic melodies.

I'm not exactly sure which category of electronic music it fits into but I think it could be an EBM track although it certainly didn't start off that way. I've had a rough time trying to figure out the arrangement of this song because it was basically two conflicting concepts mixed into one. I had to disentangle it from another concept I had going at the same time.

Primitive Sound is a project initiated by Dinesh Kumar Raman of South India.

He was first introduced to the world of instruments at the age of 14, this new found interest led him to be a part of various rock bands by the age of 18, at this time his ever growing thirst for new sounds steered him to the eclectic world of psychedelia, the trance states he experienced opened new portals in his mind which re calibrated the way he heard and thought of sound, and a new world of possibilities came to be.
His curious nature made him question this alluring trance formula and how to create it in way he could express himself. Inspired by what he experienced he started experimenting with electronic sounds. Together with the knowledge of music and eagerness to learn, he taught  himself  through trial and error and came up with his own sound, thus Primitive Sound was conceived in 2013.

The concept bloomed from deep within his consciousness, which was to fuse modern evolved future sounds with ancestral rhythms to create a sacred concoction of sound patterns, that acts as a tool to initiate change in perception and  become aware of the facets of ones ego and mold it to achieve higher states of consciousness.
