Prince-Charles Davis AKA Peraara AKA Blakk Spartacus is a Father, Son, Husband, Poet, Writer, and Veteran of the Bay Area Hip Hop scene. Berkeley/Oakland native and forever a member of Kemetic Suns. Born and raised in the Bay Area, From Berkeley to Hilltop to Richmond to Oakland, he grew up around musicians, his mother being a singer and guitarist of a band. He is influenced by his deep love of science fiction, historical non-fiction, poetry, comics, friends and family. In the mid-90's to early 2000's he performed spoken word not only in the well-known Bay Area scene (like The Starry Plough in Berkeley),  but travelled throughout the U.S. In 1998 he released his one and only solo tape, P(rays)e the Sun under the name Peraara, which received highly positive reviews and a cult following. Prince views artists/activists like Sun Ra, The Last Poets, Gil Scott-Heron and Amiri Baraka as his spiritual mentors.
