It’s a common saying that stars are born not created. Such is the case with newcomer Prince Ocki. Born Akeil Booker in the Bronx, NY of African American and Dominican heritage, Prince Ocki’s musical journey began as a child when his natural charisma separated him from his peers. Reveling in the attention, he transitioned into entertaining at talent shows and local gatherings. After relocating to Connecticut, Prince Ocki began finding his voice as a musician and honed his talents even further. He began flooding his SoundCloud page with music which quickly found momentum in New York, Connecticut and digitally. 

Prince Ocki’s unique vocals mixed with his melodic flows was a hit with listeners but also caught the attention of Global Sound Music. After inking a deal with the independent label, the 21-year-old released his official debut single titled “Murda.” Upon its release, the accompanying visual became a viral sensation, amassing over 1.4 Million views. Now with 2020 in full swing, Prince Ocki looks to build on his success with plans to release a bevy of new material for his ever-growing fanbase.
