moonlight stitches my skin, but i am not whole. silver thread, woven in the soil—can you feel it? petals peel back, lips whisper—what do they say? i don't know. i can't know. roots hum hymns, but they’re dead songs. lilies swallow the day—gasp—do you hear it? (whispering, whispering)

thorns curl into questions we never asked—because we are too afraid. nectar drips with forgotten names—are they mine? are they yours? (shhh, roses bleed) the daisy’s eye cracks the sky open, but i can't see beyond the fracture. too many words that don’t make sense, too many secrets buried beneath. ✶

we kneel in the cold earth, but our knees don’t touch the ground. tulips exhale riddles, their breath tangling in our hair like midnight’s touch. every bloom is a cipher, a sigh lost in reverse—can you read it? can you hear it? we drown, drowning in the unspoken. secrets spill. mercury, dripping—roots tie us together, tangle in our veins.

vines write, but the letters vanish. daisies blink their Morse code, but the fog thickens. willow’s tongue cracks, a thousand seeds chant, but they speak of nothing we remember. do we dare to listen? we cannot. we are too lost in the static. (shhh...)

the gardener hums, her shadow lingers behind us. shears slice through the air, leaving echoes where once there was sound. dandelion clock ticks inside me—tick-tock, tick-tock—but i cannot recall the time. petal by petal, i forget. we forget. 𓆩♡𓆪 and yet, still, we bloom. (ahh, ahh...)
