Princess Pickle

Ok so its been awhile since I've actually been able to put any sort of decent mix together the creative flow has been a no go.
But I've had a lot of useful hints and tips from my old school idols on how to help me perfect my bloody beat matching!! And I have given it a bloody good heho to practice this in this mix, and its nice to say i am actually finally making a wee bit of progress in it. HUURZARR!!!! now all i need are more hours in a bloody day to practice haha oh and endless money pool, for more vinyl haha

Ok so I have a rather large collection of techno and acid techno that I'm rather proud of haha.
But I never mix it as I really struggle to mix acid techno.
But I'm feeling more  confident these days and thought id give it a go, little did I know it wasn't going to be my mixing skill I was battling the most with. I had massive power dips throughout the entire mix and the entire household,  even the lights where flickering on and off! decided to do this during stormy weather and I have come to the conclusion charging the VDub outside on one of only six plugs in the house really wasn't helping 😆 there are massive speed variations plus volume jumps and a pure 100% war going on with this mix as I try to adjust absolutely everything whilst trying to match my speeds which is what I really struggle with  as it is! 🙈
 But I'm quite proud with what I've managed to achieve, mixing a genre I love and struggle the most with all the while fighting platters that kept slowing down and having to run around the house turning everything off drawing power haha even my poor Christmas tree :(
I know it sounds a bit of a car crash but given the conditions I'm happy to present the reality of the battle of the vinyl haha.

Once again i dont have any recalection of doing this mix, But rember the thought process leading up to it! ;p
As always my timings are a wee bit off but i honestly dont give a shit i freaking love this mix! And if you wanted to know who i am as a person this mix is definetly my characteristics coming through that deck needle.

I've been practicing my mixing hard over the last weeks and been focusing on my favourite type, good old wonky techno. First introduced to me deep in the foressty not so far away

Love mixing these kinds of tracks by these artist! So much fun and creativity goes into them it makes them great fun to mix!! 
Just have your hand ready to adjust the volume about ten minutes from the end. I knocked something on the mixer and only manged to fix it about then, but the volume jumps loads.

Just trying to have fun whilst I learn and evolve, so my mixes are far from perfect but I mainly record my mixes to listen back on and help me learn and improve upon.
No genre cages i play alll the shit and some random crap too :)
