Shovel Knight - An Underlying Problem (Cover)

I really pushed myself this time! I wanted to go back and clean up a few songs because I have plans to release a demo for Sonic 3 AIR very soon! I seriously don't think I could be happier with how this turned out! I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and adress some of my weaknesses as a composer, ESPECIALLY when it came to mixing, which is honestly my worst nightmare lol. So I kept adding and changing things until I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I did things I have never even thought to try before untill I ended up with something perfect, or at least in my opinion! 

This is still my favorite song in the OST, and even more so now. I hope to inspire others to push themselves in their oassions just as I'm doing. It is so worth it.

Dear SEGA, I hear that legal troubles regarding Sonic 3's original soundtrack might be part of what's holding you back from a re-release of Sonic 3 ( www.sonic3remastered.com/ More info here)
I suggest an alternative solution to trying to get the rights to use the songs that are currently providing a roadblock in greenlighting the project.

Bastujazz – The Story

Det sägs att kvällen började som ett skämt.
Någon nämnde ordet “bastujazz” på fyllan, någon annan tog med en saxofon, och innan någon hann stoppa dem hade fyra personer och en gammal rullbandare förvandlat ett vedeldat aggregat till scenbelysning.

Ingen vet vem som slog på “record”. Ingen vet heller varför publiken bestod av tre personer i handdukar och en katt.
Men bandet spelade – inte för att det var meningen, utan för att det var för varmt för att låta bli.

“Mumma mig inte.” sa trummisen.
“Hööö.” svarade basisten.
Resten är historia.

Det som fångades den natten blev Bastujazz – en ljuddikt från bastuns inre, där ånga möter improvisation och röken formar ackorden.
Det är inte slickt, inte polerat – bara svett, skratt och frihet.
En platta som luktar björkris, öl och Fender Rhodes.

“Man kan inte förklara det,” sa någon.
“Man kan bara öppna dörren och låta värmen slå emot en.”

Mastrad: “Warm High”

Inspelad för nära. Mastrad för varmt.
Det här är inte hi-fi – det är här-fi.
Topparna distar lite, bastun kokar, publiken flåsar.
Vi valde känsla framför kontroll, värme framför renhet.
