It’s the one magical word - just by its sound it can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. Welches Wort gemeint ist? Kleiner Tipp: Dieser Mix von @k2w0music ist f****** good. Für die gar nicht mal so komplizierte Auflösung musst du einfach den Play-Button von Schleichcast°43 anklicken und dann wird sie bereits im Intro nicht zu verfehlen sein. Natürlich empfehlen wir aber, dir die volle Stunde Ohrenschmaus zu gönnen, denn dieses Set ist irgendwie like a box of chocolate. Du weißt nie so genau, wie sich die Stimmung weiter ihren Weg bahnt und ob der nächste Track groovy und leichtherzig-beschwingt oder ein bisschen böse und bouncig-schiebend um die Ecke kommt. Oder wie der musikalische Creator selbst sagen würde: ein gut gewürzter Hotpot mit üppiger Zutatenliste. Wir finden, die Geschmacksexplosion ist ihm durchaus gelungen und freuen uns riesig, den Londoner DJ und Producer mit an Bord auf schleichender Mission zu haben. Für noch mehr K2W0-Sound raten wir dringend dazu, in sein letztjähriges Fusion-Set (f**** good!) und die zahlreichen Releases auf Labels wie LOKD, Crépite und Kamai reinzuhören.

My musical journey began when I was 12 years old, playing the guitar in the realm of metal and rock music. From that point on, it became my passion and I discovered the world of electronic music

>>What inspired you while creating the set?
I was inspired by a hotpot meal, which featured various meats, vegetables, and spices. This diverse and flavorful experience prompted me to create the set.

For a hangover, my perfect cure would be pizza and beer.

Playing live at Fusion Festival has had a lasting influence on my life as an artist.

Lenia ist seit 2013 auflegend unterwegs und beehrt vor allem die Tanzflächen Wiens und Berlins. Bei ihren DJ Sets darf es außer bouncig auch mal bisschen deeper und darker sein, solange der Groove stimmt und genügend Percussions und Hi-Hats im Spiel sind. Lenia ist außerdem begeisterte b2b Auflegende, wie sich an der Playlist ihres Soundcloud Profils ablesen lässt. Mit dem Kollektiv Gassen aus Zucker veranstaltet sie seit mittlerweile 10 Jahren Partys in Wiener Locations oder auf Festivalbühnen. Die gebürtige Wienerin beschäftigt sich abseits des Dancefloors auch mit den (kultur-)politischen Fragen der Szene und forscht und arbeitet im clubkulturellen Kontext.

Lenia has been on the road since 2013 and especially graces the dance floors of Vienna and Berlin. Apart from bouncy, their DJ sets can also be a bit deeper and darker, as long as the right groove dominates the tracks and there are enough percussions and hi-hats involved. Lenia is also an enthusiastic b2b DJ, as can be seen from the playlist on her Soundcloud profile. With the collective Gassen aus Zucker she has been organizing parties in Viennese locations or on festival stages for 10 years now. Aside from the dance floor, the Viennese-born artist also deals with the (cultura-l) political questions of the scene and researches and works in the club cultural context.

Follow The Road

Summer season in Berlin almost seemed to be gone, but came back in full effect for a last goodbye within a challenging year. Final chance to enjoy the last warm days & nights of the year, having some drinks with beloved ones in parks and open air locations around the city. To provide an accoustic companion for a laid back Sunday afternoon, we invited our friends Oberst & Buchner for this year's September podcast.

Oberst & Buchner are two friends and musicians living between Vienna and Berlin. They look back on a mutual musical journey that is as rich in variety as it is long. For one thing, countless high-energy DJ sets in clubs and at festivals all over Europe in recent years have earned them a reputation as a dynamic duo infernale. At the same time, their own productions draw from the full palette of moods and emotions.

Boiled down to the very essence, there’s one common denominator running through the duo’s musical works: colossally massive elements are masterfully set against a shimmering backdrop of incredibly detailed layers. Each so full of subtle suspense that they feel like the first raindrops before a monstrous thunderstorm. You can literally hear the calm before the storm in every break they build up, then feel the force of the wind in your face when it hits you.

Ranging from pulsating electronica over slow organic sounds derived from both nature and acoustic instruments to deep dance pop ballads, their songs are full of suspense and packed with drama. In their productions, the two friends conjure up soundscapes that are extremely dense and at the same time infinitely open and spacious. Within this framework, they play with stark contrasts of antithetic elements: repetition and improvisation, functionality and emotions, emptiness and overload, clarity and crackling.
