Messages From Concrete Lady - Ecky

Sound designer/producer & Live performer, Worg is based in Rome and founded his imprint "Lykos Records" at the end of the 'Anno Urbis MMXVIII'. Amongst highlights, Worg played Tresor in 2019 and has focused in recent months on his freshly released Ep 'La Cena delle ceneri' on Circular Limited. It's with much pleasure we're welcoming him with a Live session that he recorded for the occasion, therefore giving us a deeper insight into his work process.
 
Worg's musical range extends from experimental through slight accents of industrial, to approaching deep techno. He shows special attention for textures and persistent rhythms; you'll hear smooth pads and distortions, -drones, -hypnotic melodies & some metallic discordance; those various sounds merging both Live or in his studio productions, to create complex and distinct sonorities. It's those heterogeneous elements that give life to his body of work, enveloped in a sonic gloomy haze, to accompany the audience into a voyage of "spectral soundscapes & fantasies, located in dystopian places" of his imagination. 

Worg has released on numerous, various labels such as Circular Limited, Northallisen Records, Illegal Alien Records, Lett Records, Warok Music, Concepto Hipnotico, Concrete Records (and others). Founder of ART YOU OUT collective (Paris), which invited many french and international artists (Max Cooper, Deepbass, Patrice Baümel, Staffan Linzatti, Marcelus, Area Forty One, Olivier Deutschmann, between others), Poussière Diamant explores the atmospheric, hypnotic and tribal side of deep techno. 

This selection drives us through lots of emotions that we may feel in these particular times we're living. 
Authentic transitions and some deep moments, combined with impactful grooves and interdimensional atmospheres.

CODECAST X - Poussière Diamant - Interdimensional Experience

Our 8th contribution comes by the lovely Sabine Hoffmann.

Sabine was born and raised in Berlin. She grew up listening to a diverse array of hip hop, soul, funk and crossover beats. She discovered her passion for spinning vinyl around the early 2000’s, when she was first exposed to electronic music.
She plays a deep blend of techno, electro, Chicago & Detroit house with nuggets of acid, funk and breakbeats rolled in. But regardless of the style, you will always find Sabine playing vinyl only sets as she prefers the warmth of analog sounds and the classic feel of turntables.
Since 2016 Sabine works at the well known OYE record shop in Berlin. She is also hosting a Frauengedeck livestream, which is streamed from the OYE record shop. She herself is the founder of “Frauengedeck”, an event series focusing on an all female line up.
In September last year we could also welcome Sabine as our guest at one of our events. Not only as an artist but also as a great personality we got to know her.

Focusing on the deeper side of electronic music and influenced by the beautiful but harsh Scandinavian nature, esotericism. The fascination for sound design his music is usually located somewhere in between techno, ambient and drone. It can be characterized by its deep and emotional elements, archaic ritualistic beats and dark atmosphere
