DJ Burn hails from Cardigan, West Wales. Determined to chase his dream, he moved to Cardiff, launching the now-iconic Serious Sounds rave events as a platform to establish himself as both a DJ and promoter — driven by a vision to become a leading force in the harder-style EDM scene.

From performing to only a handful of people at any event he could secure, Burn quickly rose through the ranks to become an overnight sensation. He progressed to performing on elite main stages across the UK, entertaining thousands and sharing line-ups with some of the most respected artists in the industry.

He has been privileged to perform at many of the UK’s most respected nightclubs and festivals, alongside world-class DJs and MCs, including Darren Styles, MC Storm, Endymion, Harry Shotta, Hixxy, Evil Activities, DJ Sy, Kutski, MC Whizzkid, Andy Whitby, Gammer, Art of Fighters, Anime, Vibes & Livelee, Vinylgroover, MC Charlie B, Joey Riot, Dougal, Mark EG, M-Zone and many more.

Burn has graced countless major events, including Hardcore Heaven, Bionic, Hardcore Evolution, Together Festival, Logic, Slammin Vinyl, Uproar, Escape and more.

Driven, relentless and meticulous, he lives and breathes his craft. Burn practices with purpose, promotes with passion, and constantly evolves — refusing to stop until he reaches his goals, only to set new ones.

Hardcore at heart but respected across multiple genres, Burn’s sets span everything from Hardcore to Trance, Techno and Drum & Bass. His energy, technical precision and signature scratch work have made him unforgettable at every event, big or small.

As one half of The Burn & Turbo Show, he helped ignite the Welsh rave scene — praised for their explosive chemistry and widely regarded as one of the most exciting DJ/MC duos in Wales at their peak.

Burn has also collaborated with respected producers including Al Storm, Kashi, Fallon, The Criminal and Gisbo, with releases on established labels.

After stepping away from the scene to focus on fatherhood, DJ Burn has risen again — like a phoenix — returning with renewed hunger and relaunching his beloved Serious Sounds events. With unfinished business and a story still being written, his presence, passion and connection to the crowd remain electric.

In 2011, he was crowned Wales’ #1 Hardcore DJ — a title many fans still believe he deserves today. With a loyal following that has supported him since 2006, Burn remains a true showman, a natural crowd-puller and a dedicated artist who has evolved, returned, and is ready to finish what he started.
