The concept of this project is to be free of style, but neither freestyle nor style less.
The musical outcome, as you will find out while listening to the tracks, is multimorphic-a combination of elements taken from many different genres and cultures. 

I been all over from San Antonio to Atlanta to Memphis and Detroit and Chicago all the way to Colorado Springs and back again. I'm from Clarksville, Tennessee. We are all like minded individuals with like minded goals and we just wanna see all artists shine to their full potential. For the record, I have never been outside the United States. All my songs are inspired by colorful visions and premonitions and regular daily life growing up in Summit Heights. None is a personal reflection of who I am or what I represent. I just make music for the mind and people I care about as well as problems I see in society.

The Welton Shipwreck is a UK-based rock duo made up of Stu Head and John Culkin. Formed at the start of the 2020 pandemic lockdown period, their songs are written and recorded by means of long-distance collaboration from their homes in Scotland and Yorkshire. The music they make combines elements of shoegaze, post rock, folk and psychedelic.

Stu and John are old friends of over 20 years. Both originally from the Greater Manchester area, they met at university in Leeds in 2000. The band name refers to a street they lived on as students.

Both Stu and John sing, play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums across their various tracks (along with a few less conventional instruments.) They mix and produce all of their own music.

I’m what is known as the silent majority.  My voice is quiet on a large scale but loud on a small one.  My music is a reflection of my small scale voice trying to be loud. All tracks have a specific theme and emotion for a particular issue as if it is a short story of both bad and good thoughts.  I want to share with you a Wise Thought.
