Luke Garcia and Th3 Oth3r present 2 melodic techno tracks where they will take you on a musical journey based on arpeggios, synths and an exciting percussive groove.

Flight Low is an authentic work to free the mind and to let you take by its incredible atmosphere from beginning to end. Excellent arpeggios and synths make you dance the 7 minutes aggressive and melodic that this work takes. Melodic techno at its best.

Xtra Flight is much more groove and directs to the track. Techno groove sounds that do not let in at all times. Some leads in the middle of the track that make a magical and powerful climate.

The remixers this time are made by the excellent Italians Glance Off and Erly Tepshi. The re-interpretation that each gives the originals, is simply fantastic. Atmospheres, pads, techno and many grooves to round off a magical and direct EP to the dance floor.

Following up Cid Inc's Beatport #1 'Abyss' single, Replug Records returns with a brand new EP from Jamie Stevens. The Australian producer has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his career. As one of his country's most talented and sought after artists he has proven his skill in professional sound design, music scores for film and contemporary electronic music. As the founding member of Infusion, the much-loved Australian live act, he's left his mark around the globe, headlining some of the biggest and most respected clubs including; Fabric (London), Pacha (Buenos Aires), Womb (Tokyo) and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Creamfields in Moscow, Brazil, UK and Argentina. More recently Jamie's discography has been highlighted by releases on Guy J's Lost & Found and Armadillo imprints, which have lead him back to Replug for his first artist EP entitled 'The Forgotten Dive'.

Spread across three tracks it's the title and showcase piece which gets the journey underway. Commanding kicks and steel drums set the piece in motion, as astral designs and afro rhythms slowly surround the framework. The second act shifts energy further into the subconscious, as the cosmic narrative evolves amidst a haze of wispy atmospherics, percussive clusters and sonic artefacts; ultimately leading to an understated yet charming finale. In the words of the man himself, "Forever obsessed with tribal rhythms, this was a project that went through many incarnations before arriving at this point that traverses the atmosphere of a lost soundtrack and the momentum of an old Tenaglia 12". I spent time on throwing a few curveballs whilst being mindful of not losing focus plus creating a peak that wasn't overbearing."

The EP's second selection 'Creature of Comfort' is more of an esoteric creation. Unique and unpredictable, it showcases a quirkier side of Jamie's studio repertoire as he describes "Stemming from an experimental session one morning in the studio many years ago, this piece, is all about the storytelling of the free-styling lead synth. This is quite different from other pieces I've made in that respect and was a great deal of fun finding all the elements that would support that main character, this serpent-like creature winding its way through the track."

Drawing on a variety of fresh designs and harmonic concepts, the EP is rounded out with ‘Waterlight'. On a backbone of punchy beats comes perfectly contoured bass and a vibrant percussive cadence. Subtle yet poignant, a soft atmospheric glow encases the framework as free-flowing harmonics coruscate elegantly before timely chord changes transfer energy into a dramatic finale, as Jamie describes, "A personal exploration of raw, cyclical elements grounding a somewhat parallax field of sonic layers. I wanted to play with a solid, percussive base behind which I could smear a melancholic backdrop. This piece is all about drama and movement."

With forthcoming music on All Day I Dream, 2018 looks to be an incredible year for Jamie Stevens. ‘The Forgotten Dive' is an interstellar journey that further cements his place as one of the underground's most creative talents.

Somoz joined the Prisma family with his track 'Fluorita', released on the compilation 'Evolution'. This time the São Paulo based artist presents us with 'Paradise' and 'Dreams', two stories that demonstrate the power of music to heal us. Deep, emotional and meaningful, both tracks combine a true journey through shining timbres, epic breaks and cinematic atmospheres.

Besides the originals, the excellent title track 'Paradise' is reworked by three great artists. The first of these is Sonic Future, which has a solid reputation around the world with releases in major label such as Suara, Noir, Toolroom, Crossfrontier Audio and Stil Vor Talent. In his debut in Prisma Techno, the producer achieves immaculate levels of brilliance in his version of 'Paradise', bringing to the original melody an even more hypnotic atmosphere.

Following, Paulo Foltz is making his return to Prisma Techno after the release of his formidable album 'Pineal Connection'. Here, Foltz adds his trademark: a pulsating groove sets the scene before the electrifying climax that promises to ignite the dance floors for a long time.

Finally, we have TouchTalk in his first participation in Prisma Techno. The duo, which has acquired an enviable reputation for its productions on labels such as Natura Viva, Dear Deer and Jannowitz Records, offers us an absolutely innovative version of ‘Paradise’, effortlessly blending a combination of electronic styles. Smart drums join a massive bass line and analog synth stabs that ensure groove on the dance floor.

For its 14th release, Prisma Techno presents the producer Moov, who makes his debut on the label with two original tracks, demonstrating his strong musical personality.

'Brainstorm' is the title track, which is marked by an engaging conversation between very well-distributed drum elements, and a striking and present bassline. At the climax of the music, deep mysterious ambiences are heard in an atmosphere built with real storm sounds in contrast to synthesized elements. At the end of the break, this fusion results in a storm of feelings and sensations, which perfectly matches the title.

The second original track, 'Subconscious' is equally deep and enigmatic, possessing an introspective mood. Imagine yourself on the dance floor, at a time when you can close your eyes and feel all the energy of the elements roaming your body and mind. The acid and repetitive timbres that play throughout the track guide us through the dark paths of our subconscious.

In addition to Moov's original 2 tracks, we also have three re-readings by artists with different sounds. Prestigious Russian producer Maksim Dark, with recent releases on labels such as Senso Sounds, Octopus Recordings, and SCI + TEC, applies his unmistakable style to the original title track, and the result makes clear the reason for his rapid rise in the techno world scene. Be_bop, a Brazilian based in Portugal, accelerates the tempo of 'Brainstorm', in his exhilarating and euphoric remix. Completing the team, the creator of the Urban Soul label, Tarter remixes Subconcious music. With its clever way of producing techno, the highlight of the remix is ​​due to the apparent paradox between the distant atmosphere of the pads and the clear presence of drum elements.

It was nearly a year ago when these two graced with their hugely successful track ‘Hope’ on our ‘Watergate XV’ various artist compilation. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis come together again to deliver the stunning ‘Love Letters From Sicily’ where infectious organic grooves pave the way for a flourishing well of emotions in the form of lush pads and shimmering sonics that unfold into a tale of epic cinematic proportions. From start to finish it’s a intimate piece of aural imagery, yet the duo always keep a keen percussive focus making it ideal for any dancefloor moment. 

To complement ‘Love Letters from Sicily’, we’ve enlisted the one and only John Digweed to rework Meyer and Davis’ original of ‘Hope’, and with no surprise, he’s given it the master’s touch. Staying true to the original, while at the same time reinventing the storyline and constructing tension by saving the powerful harmonies for a later climax, he’s crafted a revision that’s both driving and timeless.
