Cuban & Peruvian, music producer, DJ, and rave organizer, Jose Buzzi hails from Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens, now home to New York City’s sacred techno underground. Best known in the techno world for his independent releases and as ⅓ of the underground collective and label, Alkhemy / Whirlwind Trax.

A consistent producer from an early age, the experimental nuances of techno quickly pulled Buzzi in and have yet to let go. He is known for his uncompromising speed with percussive touches and pummeling drums. Buzzi’s contributions stretch through Brooklyn and beyond with labels like Haus of Altr, Substantiv, The Meaning of Rave, Voight-Kampff, Dusk & Haze, Raven Sigh, Gomboc Records, Pastel Voids, and Clan Destine.

Teeyam is a recent New York transplant by way of San Francisco, where he is known for his singularly immersive party series They’re Here and his involvement in programming MUTEK San Francisco. Drawing from his love of cinema, oblique selections traversing zones of brooding psychedelia, techno, electro, jazz, and wave, are woven together with soundbites and samples into uncanny ruminations on romance, utopia, and temporality.
