498: Fargo | PTC Movie Club November 2025

Ricardo Villardo é ator, comediante e influenciador brasileiro, nascido no Rio de Janeiro e radicado em Brasília desde jovem. Ele tem mais de 19 anos de carreira no teatro, tendo participado de mais de 100 peças, incluindo musicais grandiosos como Hairspray, Chicago, Grease, Ópera do Malandro, A Família Addams e muitos espetáculos infantis como Aladdin e O Mágico de Oz. 
O grande salto de visibilidade de Villardo nas redes sociais veio com suas imitações da personagem Dona Hermínia, de Paulo Gustavo. Após a morte de Paulo Gustavo, Ricardo gravou um vídeo chamado “Carta para Deus”, em que usa a voz da Dona Hermínia como uma forma de homenagem despretensiosa, sem peruca ou maquiagem e esse gesto viralizou. 
Porém, junto com o amor do público, vieram críticas: ele chegou a ser acusado por algumas pessoas de ser “cópia barata” de Paulo Gustavo. Ricardo, por sua vez, usou esse momento como combustível para uma profunda reflexão de identidade artística, levando sua história de vida para os palcos no monólogo “Você Não É Todo Mundo”, escrito por Marcos Nauer. 
No monólogo, Ricardo revisita sua trajetória: desde a infância, quando já fazia performances para a família, até sua busca por um caminho que fosse mais autêntico, questionando “quem ele é” sem a sombra de seus ídolos. Fora do humor, ele também investiu em conteúdo literário nas redes sociais — ele tem um clube do livro e chegou a participar da Bienal do Livro. 
Além disso, ele participou do reality show A Grande Conquista na Record, o que aumentou ainda mais sua visibilidade nacional. 
Ricardo também cuida bastante da saúde: é vegetariano, mantém uma rotina fitness e já falou publicamente sobre disciplina alimentar.

Erik Bork is a screenwriter best known for his work on the HBO miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS and FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, for which he wrote multiple episodes, and won two Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards as part of the producing team.

Erik has also sold series pitches (and written pilots) at NBC and FOX, worked on the writing staff for two primetime dramas, and written feature screenplays on assignment for companies like Universal, HBO, TNT, and Playtone. In 2025 he released his feature film directing debut with The Elephant in the Room, a “red-blue romcom” he also wrote.

"The Chronology Of Water" is a biographical psychological drama film written for the screen, co-produced, and directed by Kristen Stewart in her feature film directorial debut, based on the 2011 book of the same name by Lidia Yuknavitch. It stars Imogen Poots as Yuknavitch, along with Thora Birch, Susannah Flood, Tom Sturridge, Kim Gordon, Michael Epp, Earl Cave, Esmé Creed-Miles, and Jim Belushi in supporting roles. The film had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it received positive reviews from critics. Stewart and Poots were both kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their work and experiences making the film, which you can listen to below. Rob Gourley explores two distinct but complementary territories. Night Cinema excavates cinematic atmospheres, chopping French film dialogue, soul samples, and noir orchestration into trip-hop that sounds like surveillance footage left running in empty European hotels. His debut EP "Ciné Mort" is five pieces of beautiful decay: melancholic, shadowy, haunted by forgotten reels.

Slow Carrier moves into more patient terrain, where modular synth patches unfold without urgency. Here, Gourley designs slowly evolving soundscapes—textural, ambient, meditative. Where Night Cinema samples the past, Slow Carrier generates the present moment.
Both projects share an exploratory ethos: prioritizing atmosphere, embracing analog imperfection, and letting sounds breathe. One digs through archives, the other builds from voltage. Together, they map the space between memory and transmission.
