UPDATE august 2019:

Pleased to say the repress of BA050 will be hitting stores soon. The first in the Transhumanism series went down a storm and has been out of stock for ages. The original pressing was on orange vinyl. This time it’s on black with an orange sticker to match the second in the series and the 3rd which will be released in September.

There are no plans to sell this on Bandcamp. So check the decent stores out there - some taking preorders already.

This one has been spun by Dave Clarke, Helena Hauff, Stingray and Juan Atkins - and many more.

In February 2016 5 people from the Bass Agenda family met in person for the first time at Whip It! - an Electro night hosted by Dave Clarke and held at The Melkweg, Amsterdam. 

Inspired by the meeting, the friendship, the music and the experience of the night they set out to make the 50th release on Bass Agenda Recordings - 'Transhumanism'. 

As a compilation of Dutch Electro from the deep underground the vinyl is a deep orange pressing and strictly limited to 200 copies.

The third release by the Paris based Public System Recordings knows no bounds or borders. A massive 2x12 inch compilation featuring the likes of Fallbeil, Innsyter, Morah, Buttechno and many more from the realms of heavy rust and wild animals. The heart beat of industrial noise resonating through weathered metal surfaces. PSR003 is certainly writhing with wild tribal movement informed by the ferocity of feverish drum programming, waterlogged flanging and carefully degraded waveforms creating this fully engrossing and almost unclassifiable techno selection. It certainly puts an emphasis on the "Body" aspect of EBM.

London Modular Alliance is a collective that lies somewhere between a shop and a cult. From their base in the former industrial warehouses of Hackney Wick, London Modular have been designing their own cases, working out practical ways of chaining multiple synths for live performance, selling units from their shop front, and taking themselves on the road to run workshops and gigs. From the lazer-lit confines of sweaty clubs to the hushed environs of Tate Britain and the V&A, they fill spaces with the whoosh and sweep of man co-operating with machine, bringing the dynamics of dance music to the ideals of modular synthesis, and forcing anyone with ears to acknowledge the potency of the format once more. The sound of the future has returned.

L.M.A. has released via Kirk Degiorgio's label Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART), Brokntoys, Hypercolour, Dimensions Recordings and Rhythm Section’s sub-label International Black. And now L.M.A. will release his six-tracker EP on Private Persons.

LONDON MODULAR ALLIANCE — GALAXY EXPLORATION [PRIVATEPERSONS011]

There's a good bunch of intense, dark and extreme, grinding electro-techno gems on the "Raval Rave Breakers" first compilation. While Boris Divider's 'Collapsed Cluster' recalls of the more clinical approach of labels like Raster-Noton, Eel manages to deliver a fresh mix of styles on 'Sraight Edge', where Old Skool Breakbeat and EBM draw an unforgettable match made in heaven. Last track on the A side comes from Classicworks boss Neuhen, but is Patricia (Opal Tapes, Spectral Sound) who remixes it: in "Supress" we can find all the magic tricks of the NYC based producer: eery atmospheres, gently distorted drums and a warm feeling of cozyness. On the flip, RNXRX delivers "Aktion Intertia", one of the most psychedelic jams he's ever did: an industrial acid track as catchy as it can be. Oakland's "Heroine From The North" sounds a bit like when New Beat became faster and more agressive, being mixed with styles like EBM and trance.

There had been a time long ago when everybody was free to do as they wanted, but things were different now. Now they were part of a system, presided over by an all seeing presence that could decide their fate at any given moment...

French electro master Djedjotronic returns to Boysnoize for another high powered and uncompromising EP. The three-tracker follows several solo outings on the label, as well as collaborations with Lokier, Miss Kittin and Cardopusher, and sees him serve up the unexpected. Futuristic and driving, the EP explores the haunted, twisted corners of electro through distorted kicks, coarse synths and jittery percussion.
