After releasing his latest EP “Chibcha” on Random Collective, Marcelo becomes the first Colombian soul to join our global family, and does so with a journey of fantastic Latin American and avant-garde house music.

Raised between Andean sounds, malambo, milongas and techno from the 80's, Marcelo toured multiple cities of his native land in which he nourished his culture and learned his instruments. Currently in Costa Rica where he meets the modern sounds of techno, mixing innovating sounds and textures to generate a present ancestral sound.

'Cosmovision' could be seen as a state of inner consciousness. A state of total awareness in which a being is conscious that any outer and/or inner manifestation is only a reflection of one and single Source.

From this State in perfect harmony with everything, with the Whole, appears the Knowledge which is intrinsically present in everything that surrounds us, in the Vibration from which 'All' takes form.
This Vibration is the Source, the Mother Vibration, the Divine Matrix, the vibration described by the Sacred Cholq'ij calendar, the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.

It is the Voice of the Original Mother. It gives us day after day the teachings of what we call Life, Presence, Reality, Consciousness.
The Cosmovision is built out on the basis of this inner Source of Knowledge, the Akashic memory, the holographic memory of the universe, which consists of the experiences and vibrations of all beings who have existed, who exist and will exist.

Amor A La Vida (la Masa- Marcelo Berges Edit)

The POAN Collaborations EP is a journey into musical kinship. It is a project spawned from the idea that we can create so much more potent art when we come together and combine our strengths to create something that we could never create on our own. These collaborations were birthed out of the musical genius of Lorenzo Mantovani of the ambient instrumental project POAN (his project with Giacomo Barbari). Lorenzo put together seven different loop packs using his wide range of instruments which were then passed on to these producers to create something totally new out of the recordings. Each track takes on a whole new life of it’s own with the unique beat driven approach of each individual producer. The collaborations range from high energy dance tracks to deep hypnotic introspective journeys with everything in between. May this collaborative effort be a testament to the potency of coming together as a collective musical family.

A orillas de la fría laguna , del sol picante y la majestuosa inmensidad,
entusiasmado por el pronto descubrimiento ,bajo la presión q la altura ejercía sobre mi frágil pero bien aventurado cuerpo,rodeado de tierras ancestrales que revelaban ante mi, mi propia esencia.

Tras años de obligarme a adoptar una realidad a la cual no le debía pertenencia ,
sumergido en visiones artificiales , proyectadas desde el ojo externo de la ignorancia.

Después de despertar del profundo sueño que el soñador ignora.

Se derraman las hermosas melodías que de las entrañas brotan,
que se identifican con las raíces caladas en las tierras de donde un día floreció mi existencia.

Reactivando memorias , emociones , lecciones que desde la infancia suprimidas yacían en silencio , recuperando así mi ser, mi sonido , mi nombre .
