The latest release on Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting the third installment of its critically acclaimed ‘Correlation’ series. Conceptualized in 2017 with the intent of showcasing cutting edge electronic music, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of rising talents along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. At the time the label’s music policy was undergoing a shift, emerging into borderless realms and showcasing a broader spectrum of electronica. Unveiled two years later, the second installment furthered the label’s borderless vision with ten selections that touched on deeper, more contemporary sounds to laid back techno, all the way through to the label's progressive house roots. Now looking to make the series a biannual event, edition three continues the journey, leaving no stone unturned with a veritable smorgasbord of sound, covering a wide array of sonic space and featuring (in order of appearance) Ercos Blanka, TD, Gavin Rochford, Beije, amháin, Fermata Duomo, Dio S, MATE 0000 and Deepshader. Another unforgettable musical journey from Sound Avenue, one which perhaps foreshadows some future projects to come.

We are delighted to welcome back Dowden to ICONYC Noir with his brand new 'Inertia EP'. The EP kicks off with 'Have Hope'; a grooving deep progressive influenced house roller fusing chord stabs with manipulated string ensembles and clinical percussion that culminate into a club inspired piece of house music. Winter Vibes 2020 [Another Life Music] mixed by Clark Wohlert

With 'The Release' Ritchie Haydn makes his long-awaited debut on ICONYC Noir. Ritchie delivers a slice of warm, pulsating club vibes. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry bassline sits wonderfully on top, adding an extra layer of depth and class. Ritchie means business and it is evident with every step of the way. Essential stuff!

On remix duty we are very excited to welcome Rick Pier O Neil who also marks his debut on the label with a classy remix for the ages. The French producer who is known for his deep melodic progressive influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around RPO's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of elements on offer. RPO once again has reminded us with his classy rework why we are so fond of him.

Next up we welcome back Arnaud Cordova & Julian Liander to the label. Their unique act and emotional creations carry quite a large scope. They are not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with their remix of 'The Release', which carries many of their most loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to icy atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to like. The main break is perhaps the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with effortless ease. It's something you rarely see and they pulled it off beautifully here.

With 'The Release' Ritchie Haydn really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments! After many high-quality releases, Pro B Tech Music proudly presents the `Cognitive Behaviour´ EP coming from the mind of Brent Lawson, the proud owner of this imprint.
In charge of the remixes for this premiere are Hernan Cattaneo, Soundexile and Paul Deep.

The original mix of this EP has intense uplifting energy that builds over arrhythmic synths that give the track profundity. Hernan Cattaneo has developed over the years a unique sound that has conquered the hearts of millions of fans all over the world. This wasn't going to be different, and with the help of Soundexile, they came up with two exquisite remixes. The first one is a high tempo progressive techno track with trance stabs to remind us of the classics. The second one is a deeper version that climaxes into a modulated theremin synth that gives a playful touch to the record. Last but not least Paul Deep also made two remixes that impart a spin to the main line with a purer techno version of Cognitive Behaviour. The first one, with concise synths that conquer the deepest parts of our minds, right away captures our hearts. The last version of it is one with a vigorous bass immersing the listener into the ultimate techno experience.

The whole EP is a total assault on your senses, don´t miss out!
