Hello hello! Welcome to a new episode of Clubsonica Radio with your host and the DJ for the first hour of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. Amazing music in this episode, including some of the latest Clubsonica releases, like Praise’s ‘Ice’, Kaddyn Palmendt’s Somniator, and  Cendryma’s Remix to Hassan Maroofi’s Solar Odyssey, which is a remix that’s going to be released on June 11th via our beloved label. Also, listen to an unreleased remix I did of Redspace’s Neuroleptic, coming out soon. Check the description for the full tracklist. Fuenka is our guest for this episode, providing a beautiful guest mix for the second hour. They released a remix of ‘Kaddyn Palmed’s Ipse’, which is doing great in the charts.

Based in London, Stuart Browne and Jimmy Lee make up the Fuenka production duo. Their melodic yet dancefloor-friendly take on progressive house and trance has found favour with some of the world’s most prominent tastemakers across their decade-long career. Play and support from Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, John OO Fleming, and Paul Thomas have propelled them into one of the most renowned duos in their genre space. Fuenka now adds Clubsonica to their resume with a gorgeous rework of Ipse.

Bringing house and techno to the Midwest through multiple avenues, but most importantly, through music. My passion lies with the melodic and progressive styles of both genres, but have a general love for all things 4/4. 

I picked up DJing in February of 2024 and have been rolling since. In that time I have opened for KREAM, landed opening slots for other regional acts (including Max Styler and John Summit), and launched a radio show. Some of the collectives I have worked with in St. Louis are Umbrella Underground, Nightchaser, and B&W Productions. 

This journey has been nothing but amazing so far. Stoked to see where the road ahead takes us next.

Mis “alter ego” Martin-D (House/Melodic/Progressive House) y DJ Dave Martin (Techno/ Trance/Tech House) reflejan una visión diferente y diversa de la música electrónica que te harán disfrutar.

Mi constante búsqueda por sonidos nuevos, mis gustos diversos y artistas como Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Óscar Mulero, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, Derrick May y, sobre todo, Ángel Molina, han marcado mi estilo, gusto, carácter y personalidad musical, siendo referencias claras en mis sesiones.

At age 15, my love of electronic music and DJing began thanks to my neighbor, who had some turntables.
The result of this situation has been a passion that lasts to this day.

An eclectic, meticulous, and perfectionist DJ, he is characterized by delicate, deep, dark, and hard sounds, influenced by different styles and movements.
My alter egos, Martin-D (House/Melodic/Progressive House) and DJ Dave Martin (Techno/Trance/Tech House), reflect a different and diverse vision of electronic music that you will enjoy.

My constant search for new sounds, my diverse tastes, and artists like Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Óscar Mulero, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, Derrick May, and, above all, Ángel Molina, have shaped my style, taste, character, and musical personality, serving as clear references in my sets.

I've played at clubs like Macarena Club, Japan Barcelona, ​​Overdrive (Hospitalet), Spunny Bar... in addition to being a Pioneer DJ at Spain's Plastic Academy.

My passion for music moves me, and in the same way, I hope it moves you.

I listen electronic music since the begining with new beat, acid music, and i discover the trance in 1993 with my friend dj yrelav who show me the universe of trance music in belgium nightclub like at the villa, balmoral,cherry moon.......with phiphi, yves deruyter....

i begin to buy trance records since this period !!

i like mixing trance retro music and progressive melodic house with a lot of emotion. My current inspiration is clearly Hernan cattaneo

Nicolas Ruiz is currently living in Argentina. He started his career as a DJ at the young age of 14, getting to know people from the party scene and the whole music environment. He also organized amazing events in the region of Misiones in Argentina, besides having his own radio show, where he showed his musical taste, his influences, and promising future.
Since his early age, he has had inquisitiveness at music trends and curiosity to dig into new sounds. In 2011, during a trip to his second home in Switzerland, he took part at a DJ competition and won the first prize: playing at the crowded Street Parade mega festival. The Street Parade is an event which gets together about 1 million people every year. Nicolas Ruiz won the contest through votes on the web, and through a jury that got dazzled by his great talent. Then, he showed his skills as a DJ to the crowd in one of the worlds biggest electronic party. After this huge experience, he participated at the Swiss Nightlife Awards, where he did the warm up to DJs like Fedde Le Grand and Eric Pridz.
During 2012, he was booked to play at different cities for important events in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Switzerland, performing with Jimmy Van M (Bedrock), Marcelo Vasami (Buenos Aires), Facu Carri, D-Nox (Germany), and more. His musical style is House, Tech House and Progressive House, always adapting himself to the places, the party and, of course, to the crows.
Nicolas sets the dancefloors on fire wherever he is. He captivates even the most challenging audience, due to his charisma and discernment. From the DJ booth -his workplace and place of passion- he is grateful for the affection and reciprocity of the crowd."

His set series "Feel The Flow" aims to bring the listener an impactful experience by mixing melodic sounds, many musical instruments, and heavy basslines, navigating through dense moments and "dark" techno rhythms, only to feel the music's ascension and the feeling of rebirth with the introduction of Melodic House, Progressive House, and Indie Dance. Recently, he has dedicated himself more to producing sets in the Progressive House or Indie Dance line.

Born in Cali, Colombia, but now living in Medellín, Colombia, Juan Pablo Torrez fell in love of electronic music at a very short age with progressive trance music, but it was not until his 18 years old that he took his love for this music to the decks. Afterwards, highly influenced by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sasha and by progressive, trance and techno sounds of that time, Juan Pablo Torrez made his style very versatile which allowed him to surf between genres and that he maintains until today. This has allowed him to perform in countries like Greece, Hungary, Spain, Argentina, USA and more; hold plenty of club residencies as well as performed in major and massive events such as Summerland Festival Main Stage (2013 and 2015 editions, Cartagena, Colombia), DayDreaming Festival 2018 (Budapest, Hungary) and Bloque Festival 2018 (Kavala, Greece).

Over the years, he has shared the spotlight with many of dance music’s greatest artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Jeremy Olander, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Funkagenda, Cid Inc, Darin Epsilon, Anthony Pappa, Dmitry Molosh, and countless others.

To date, Juan Pablo Torrez has released music on Parquet Recordings, Perspectives Digital, Beatfreak Recordings, Particles, Clubsonica Records, FSOE UV, onedotsixtwo, among others. His productions have entered Beatport’s Top 100 charts several times and has being supported, charted and played by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren, Darin Epsilon, Paul Thomas, Anthony Pappa, Wally Lopez, Gai Barone, Solid Stone, Mariano Mellino, among many others.
