Here we go, and its a biggie!! Next up on Pro B Tech Music, is Ethereal Pulse, The original produced by label boss Brent Lawson and good friend and mentor Paul James Nolan. This alone would make this EP special but we then bring in two remixes, both coming from one of our favourite locations in South America, Argentina, The original starts out with a solid 4/4 kick as the rumbling progressive bassline comes through, as this progresses you start to hear the main synth line coming through, growing as this moves through before being treated to the break, its a grower, sure to blow up many a dance floor. The first of two needs no introduction, and we are so humbled, excited we landed the agreement, on that we welcome back Hernan Cattaneo, and first time for us Mercurio, What the guys have done here is very special, clever and works outstandingly, they have taken the main synth line of the original and transferred this from the synth into a crisp, clean Piano, It works so well, creating a sound that has hints of Knights of the Jaguar, Hernan has already played this live at this years Sunset strip, we love it, and know you will. Second up, and another big welcome back and continuing with Argentina we have Martin Gardoqui, Martin does as he always does and delivers at the highest of levels, what he has done here is provided a deeper version that still stays strong to the original, you can hear the main line throughout but as this progresses it has so many more elements which grow, including broken vocal at the break. This provides real growth through this EP giving you something across all parts of the night. I/We are very proud of this one and cant wait to hear this being played out. it all began way back in the early 90s on a cold gloomy day, while listening to a 12'' Funky House record by the one and only legendary pioneer, Junior Jack I had dug through that day at the local record store(I think it was a white label back then and I had no clue who the record was written by at the the time!) and then the feeling took over, never left and kept evolving into a whole a lot in the magikal Electronica spectrum...uplifting & emotional Trance, Tech Trance, Progressive Trance, Club Trance, Progressive House, Electro House, House...this is all after my Funkmaster Flex era, but that's another story for another gloomy busy day....

These are some of my vintage and current DJ mixes from my 25+ years on the frontline trenches and recordings I've done from the "backstage" : : : ''bunker" sessions - just a cool spot (an expressive, creative sanctuary)I was lucky enough to hammer some wax and put together a few mixes where Black Sabbath and The Offspring used to jam in their early days. A true underground mecca, located right next to an old military base, a bunker where smoke machines, laser lights, heavy hitting line-arrays (this was before breaking over many circuits and over 20-30 pairs of speakers :/) and floor shaking//spine tingling bottoms lead the night and guide you into those blissful oceanic sunrises...creating some of the most blissful memories for me! Eventually, ended up owning and running the place, which was a nightmare on itself dealing with all the bands and artists!! 😅
Something about a small space dark room with a solid pounding sound system and blinding strobe lights....

I've been listening to electronic music since I was old enough to tune into the John Peel show on Radio 1. Peel first introduced me to Chicago House, Detroit Electro and Rap. I would listen to an entire show with my finger hovering over the record button of my 'tape-recorder' close to the radio speaker just to record whatever 3 electronic imports he would play each night. I wish I'd kept those recordings.
From the moment I first heard 'Roxanne Shante' I sought out everything I could ranging from Kraftwerk, Mike Oldfield, Kurtis Mantronik, Africa Bambata, Grandmaster Flash, Gorgio Morodor, Axel-F, Jean Michel Jarre and just about anyone who used a synth to make music! With the arrival of House in the mid-late 80's the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Steve Silk Hurley, Adonis and many more American underground House producers, the music had developed into a new, seriously exciting phenomena.
Music progressed at pace with House and Acid imports driving change, the UK in particular underwent an epiphany of sorts in the 80's and 90's. From Break-Dancing to New Romanticism, the music developed, finally morphing into the early genres of Acid Trance, Techno and Progressive Trance. Heavily influenced by American and underground Dutch and German artists and with the advent of clubbing and non-speaking mixing DJ's, it opened up a Pandora's box of new music, influences, sounds and styles. What that amounted to for me (and most others like me) was an ever-growing range of electronic music that was continually breaking free from pigeon-holes and mainstream pop culture. Electronic music had become the new classical music of a generation.
I can only say that electronic or computer music has evolved beautifully in the past 40 years and I love it as much now as the day I first heard John Peel play fantastic American imports.
I'm not anything more than a bedroom DJ and electronic music enthusiast. I have the greatest admiration for those who DJ publicly and seek to build a following or career from DJing, but that’s not a path I’ve tried to follow. I do love to put together great tunes, so for me using this sort of platform for sharing music is perfect for me. I do mixes both on my decks and using Ableton, as sometimes I find it easier to create a journey through that medium. 
As for making music, I’m slowly finding my way around Ableton in order to bring life to the musical ideas rolling around my head. 
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the mixes I post, please give me some feedback and if nothing else, support the artists themselves and buy their music.
