Introducing my State of Trance mix series, I will be taking you through the variations of one of my favourite genres. Whilst I like to explore all, trance hits in a way like no other. Whether it be uplifting and euphoric, or absolute hard filth, every aspect of the genre is just spectcular.

The first and second volumes are sets of mine that were previously up quite a while ago, but have been lost. These were some of my favourite Progressive mixes I've done so it would be a shame for them to go to waste, definitely not the best compared to my newer ones but love the selection of tracks. hope you enjoy!

James Curtis has been heavily involved in electronic music since late 90's, he began as a promoter of techno and trance parties in 1999 organising many successful events under the name Chemical Solutions.  He quickly developing his own dj style and went on to perform at many clubs, festivals and parties across the UK. 

He released his first solo project in 2010 under the alias Holocaust and produced german trance music, which was laden with atmosphere, distorted acid lines and broody melodies.

In 2010 he also created his own forward thinking imprint, Chemical Solutions Records which released an array of Top Ten hits (Trackitdown) and gained global support from many international acts. 

PRO-Gram is his current music project focusing on psy trance, channeling the energy of his german trance sound with cutting edge and futuristic vibes of the current progressive movement.

In 2020 he finally received international recognition for the quality of his psy trance music by being signed to the famous Iono Music Sub Label Yellow Sunshine Explosion (YSE).

His style of djing for progressive psy is driving and euphoric, well suited to warm up for full on psy trance. He has played at a number of renowned festivals including Universo Paralelo, The Liquid Stage at Noisily Festival, Tribe of Frog stage at Boomtown, Illusive Festival, Equinox and many others.
