The Face for Radio: since 1981, back when I was the youngest punk in the U.S. to hold an FCC CROL(Commercial Radio Operator’s License) before Reagan's deregulation turned the whole game into homagnized pop propaganda. I was the one time live on air record holder broadcasting 42 hours straight, spinning wax and running on caffeine, nicotine, and puberty. Then Reagan hammered the coffin shut on real DJs, feeding the airwaves to automation, corporate ghouls, and homogenized playlists designed by accountants.

So I went outlaw. Pirate radio, community broadcasting, college radio chaos wherever the transmitter buzzed, I was there, keeping the static alive with transmissions eternally drifting into the cosmos. From KYOR to KJMB, KROQ to 91X Mexico, KUKQ, Radio Mohave, KRVM, KAVE, KSYD, KXLA, KWVA, AFRN, Radio Free Foshan, and Radio Trang. From low power, no power, 50,000 watts in a acoustic tower, AM, FM, short wave, long wave. CB, side band, microwave, cold wave, nu wave, and screw wave. Now riding the high fi lo fi sci fi edge with Meshtastic frequencies and drone jamming on interdimensional Radio. Streaming and beaming signals across borders, dimensions, and whatever corners of the spectrum that can be sold to the highest bidder or hijacked by yours truly. Transcranial induction for inception level ops under PSIC (Psychotronic Systems Information Consulting) still pays the bills.

I’ve been redundancy proof since the day corporate radio declared me obsolete. Because radio, real radio, isn’t about market share or ad buys it's about the hiss in the headphones at 3 a.m., the busted mic, the cracked vinyl, the voice that refuses to die no matter how many times they try to automate it.
