Radio Concert No.2

This track is from 2011, but I've never posted it here before.  I used the Modcan 57B VC Recorder (voltage control recorder) as an audio recorder and grabbed a bunch of sounds "live" from a shortwave radio and looped them.  Once I created and layered the loops, I recorded them and mixed them with some Moog synthesizer recordings in Logic.  I'm pretty sure the Moog Old School Voyager was going through a Electro-Harmonix POG pedal to create 'chords' and then various delay and reverb efx.

Sounds lush and haunting to my ears, so it seemed like something nice to post for Halloween this season.  Enjoy and thanks for listening if you choose to do so!

All sound produced by the Synthesis Technology E370, samples recorded without FX/reverb, followed by small selection of the fullly produced piece
Patch notes (to best of recollection):

1. CLOUD MORPHING / 8 voice / Max Spread > using the trapezoid wave shape from Batumi, with offset help from Maths, for volume envelope, manually moving the zParm (morph), sending output to E580 Resampling Mini-Delay

2. 2-OP FM mode>  sine FM'd by morph Mod Wave, morphing LFO'd by slow PEG 

3. CLOUD MORPH / 8 osc / max spread > z-prm-morph/X1 mod'd by Batumi trapezoid  

4. sames as above, but rep itched in Ableton (tempo from 100 to 400) to let the harmonics more slowly unfold

5. Low frequency CLOUD MORPH, 4 osc, max spread  'Thunder Rumble', coarse/fine both set to min - lowest freq. Chaos is 99/max, tried chrBW at 30, 45, 60 for increased drama. Highly advise hi-pass filter for mix. 

6. MorphZ with Wavefolding 

7. CLOUD MORPH with Rene sequencing with E580 and pitched down by Ableton

8. 'Crispy Radio' CLOUD MODE / romC w external hi freq FM moderator, E370 Rom C, sometimes manually varying the FM attenuator (think this was EXP Fming)  

9. hi freq 2-Op FM > 2 channels of maths, one cycles the rise parameter of the other, the resulting EOF output moves from slow to fast and back
