In echo of its Winter 2025 edition, Astropolis once again celebrates the talents of the Grand Ouest with a new release! Le Mans-based Nouveau Monica opens the EP with "Watch Them Stutter", a track that thrusts us into cross-Channel vibes. Blending sharp breakbeats, UK bass, and agile 2-step, it delivers a punchy track tailored for the most demanding dance floors.

Ransom Note Records are over the moon to welcome illustrious French Electronic duo Froid Dub to the fold for the debut 12” vinyl release with us, Tears Maker Chant. Head honchos of the wonderful Delodio label, Stéphane and François, mark the 50th release for R$N Recs, and this is without a shadow of a doubt an incredibly special one for us. So, sit back and ready yourself for some inimitable Froid Dub cuts; laid back but pounding, graceful yet aggressive but above all, thoroughly danceable.

First single On The Nose enters next, with a delightfully soft, round bass that feels like bouncing around a padded room. Inside a Zorb. On MDMA. More echoed, analogue motifs dart from left to right, confirming with strong conviction that our chaps from Paris put the Dub in Indubitably Fantastic.

The single “Inertia” is the first glimpse into Signals from the Stars — Vietnamese Paris-based artist https://soundcloud.com/d-k-music’s upcoming EP, due mid-July on Midgar.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia taps into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.
