the ultimate showdown x the legend from deltarune [VERSION 2!]

Hello! It's been a while since I've done a standalone original track (4 years actually). I don't do them often since they perform relatively poorly on the channel but this one is extremely personal to me and tackles a lot of the emotions I was dealing with during my extended hiatus. I could've easily just passed this off as an Undertale AU thing but decided it was important to me that this be a standalone track.

I wrote the original version of the lyrics back in early 2023 and then workshopped them a bit to fit the melody that I wrote later that year. After sitting in my files for 5 months I started working on it again and finally polished it enough to upload. In total it was an 7 hour track that took far longer than it needed to to get done. Thank you to my good friend  @Sturfall  for helping me with the mixing (we were up late into the night trying to figure out why one of the parts of the track were clipping 😭). While this track is pretty simple I think it sounds very pleasant. I've always been a big fan of juxtaposing happy/bittersweet music with depressing lyrics it's something you'll find I do often like with my Deltarune track "Another Day in Autumn" back in 2019.

Hey everyone!

I finally finished school and I am super exited to be releasing as many songs as I can to you guys this summer! 
For this specific song, I came up with the idea that what if Asgore, Flowey, and Sans decided to all fight you in the Final Corridor. I mixed and mashed all of their songs together and I thought It'd be a pretty cool idea!
