It's back to my obsession with the dark and relentless, and I do feel like my niche interest is being fully catered for here on this one. This minimix contains some bleak, dark, phuturistic, haunting and moody oldschool neurofunk, with a powerful sense of dread. This is quite the opposite of jump-up, and it’s like the antithesis of Liquid-Drum&Bass.

This mix was recorded live at Veldig Klubb, an urban music radioshow held at Vers Libre radiostation, and of course this is a 100% vinyl mix.

Moakz's debut album 'The Critical Path' is available to pre-order now, and releases on Codename: RCRDS on 6th June 2025, on double 12" vinyl and digital. Beautifully mastered by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven, and with stunning artwork produced by Clayton Burke, the release finds the artist in fine form, with his uniquely crafted artisan approach showcasing the 'cinematic jungle' sound in full length for the first time.
