Hospital Records’ São Paulo discovery Urbandawn is a serious contender. After releasing two popular EPs with the label and spending several months determined in the studio his debut album ‘Gothenburg Cluster’ is ready.

Seventeen tracks of sophisticated sound design unite punching drum beats, funk ridden riffs and huge cinematic explorations. The experienced audio engineer not only draws from his Brazilian roots but also the more niche rock, metal and folk bands of the Swedish mid 90’s scene. It’s this distinctive spin on drum & bass that’s grown support from the scene's heavyweights over the last two years.

It was ‘Trindade’ - discovered deep in Hospital’s demo box - that first brought Urbandawn to London Elektricity’s attention. He's been tipped as 'The Future Sound of Brazil' with ‘Messiah Complex’ and ‘Pavlov’s Dog’ that have stayed permanently in the label boss' record box and getting dancefloor’s moving across the world.

‘Still Breathing’ featuring Med School prodigy Keeno, is an emotive match of ethereal piano and staccato strings. When sat next to the face-slapping impact of ‘Foley Funk’ and the bright, vocal powerhouse in 'Together Again' it’s clear how Urbandawn’s creative flare can adapt to different styles of drum & bass with consistent brilliance.

After six years with seminal label Metalheadz, building his reputation through a steady output of Soulful Drum & Bass, Lenzman is about to embark on a new journey: launching his own label.

The North Quarter, named after the neighbourhood where he grew up, will be an outlet for both
his own productions as well as music by like minded individuals, who share a love and dedication for all things soulful. Naturally its first release is a Lenzman EP: ‘All For You’.

Taking everything that has shaped him musically and has meant something to him over the years, Lenzman is combining these ingredients to create something heartfelt. Music with imperfections,
born in heartache and pain, joy and laughter; a human celebration. Something far beyond container concepts like ‘Drum & Bass’. A classic attitude shaped in 21st century interpretations, a beautiful struggle if you will. Rather than offering a single track, The North Quarter is about reaching deeper, allowing artists a more varied pallet and more freedom. 

So then here is - the first release. Lenzman's All For You EP offers six tracks, two interludes and two bonus instrumentals. With influences from 90's Hip Hop and beyond. Real music for real people.

When “one of the biggest talents in Drum’n’Bass” (according to Grooverider), Vienna based Reinhard Rietsch aka CAMO and up- and coming producer Markus Wagner aka KROOKED, who both started producing in 2002, teamed up in 2007 nobody could have guessed what impact their collaboration will have on the scene!
Since then they have written and produced some of the hottest and devastating dancefloor anthems Drum’n’Bass has heard for a long time! Be it the more soulful sound of the massive “Turn Up The Music” or the raw power of smashers like their remix of “John B – Numbers”, they always hit the right buttons!
With this amazing musical talent and ambition they quickly managed to get their tunes released on the biggest Labels within the scene and on heavy rotation on Drum’n’Bass’ homebase Radio 1!

Top-notch Labels like Breakbeat Kaos, Hospital, Audio Porn, Viper Recordings, Beta Recordings, Renegade Hardware and many more are standing in row to get the next CAMO & KROOKED tune released! Fortunately they don’t have to wait long. When listening to their already huge discography, one luckily recognizes that quantity doesn’t exclude quality in the world of CAMO & KROOKED. They apparently finish a tune a day, with just killers, no fillers! And with more releases in the pipeline coming out on Hospital, Breakbeat Kaos and other big labels in the scene, CAMO & KROOKED aren’t intending to leave this highly effective path!

As if producing tremendous tunes of every subgenre Drum’n’Bass has to offer isn’t enough, they’re also exploring completely different styles of electronic music like the exciting sounds of minimal house and relaxing downtempo beats with their so called CHROME project.
