For the 10th mix in the _____ PLAYS MUSIC series Chicago based multidisciplinary artist Professor Wrecks joins us for 45 minutes bringing a mix consisting entirely of their own production/edits. Professor Wrecks use of familiar vocals chopped up alongside classic house drums, gritty analog bass and reverberating synthlines guides the listener through the course of the mix. Having found Professor Wrecks music when I began djing several years ago, their inclusion in the series feels like a coming full circle moment.
