Whilst both having quite different styles and sounds when they play separately, J-Slyde and Simon Murphy teamed up once again to play a versus set at Prognosis. The resulting set fuses their contrasting influences into a trip through techno, house and progressive. 

This set was played to a full house after Aaron Static and Moskalin had set the pace perfectly. Following this set were Kasey Taylor (Vapour/Lo-Fi 45), Luke Chable (Mesmeric) and Matter (Futureform).

The night will go down in history as one of the biggest and best nights Prognosis has ever had.

Xanthraxx is a discjocky from Melbourne. His style isn't really pigeon holed, playing anything from Techno to Electroclash. He counts himself lucky to be living in Melbourne which caters for such a diverse range of electronic music and is surrounded by so many music lovers. A resident at The 86 and TROUGH X and has played at many fabulous parties such as FANTASTIC, CLOSET, POOF DOOF and in 2018 closed the iconic Midsummer festival and has closed for his idol Ellen Allien & supported the likes of Bloody Mary,Hannah Holland, Volvox & Kristen Velvet.

Influenced by a solid foundation of techno, a love of all things melodic and a passion for outdoor bush festivals and psychedelia, Simon’s fascination with a wide array of sounds has helped spawn a deep understanding of the music and scene which he loves. Through focusing his passion for raw underground sounds on his DJ sets, Simon Murphy has spent the better part of the last decade turning more than a few heads playing an eclectic blend of musical madness from his favourite producers from across the globe.
