Looming danger ahead...Lawn mower blades are now clogged & headlights are fogged...LOL! This actually made me smile, Marco! Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain with a spirit body chasing one is things frightmares/nightmares are made of! ...It only gave me anxiety of how tall the grass was going to grow if it went on for days & days if this was a summer monsoon season!  You really spur imagination!  Is the umbrella slasher around the next tree trunk? You are the only one who can create an eerie soundscape & leave me feeling calm at the same time! Happy Holly Days! ;)

It seems at about 2:40 something sprung a leak 😃 . Very interesting ambient sound painting.

Let It Roll

Created using a groove box, stand-alone synth and mastered on a computer.  Got to get a remix.  The mastering drove me nuts.   Getting it right on the groove box level will not achieve the mix that I want.  I don’t want to use a daw.

Mike Benoit is a wonderful sound artist who reached out to me this year with the idea of taking some raw improv piano playing and reworking them to produce original tracks. This appealed to me because 1 - I ain't the greatest piano player so this was flattering and 2 - I spend so much of my time reworking other peoples sounds it would be awesome to be on the receiving end for a change : ) .The album features 4 tracks, each one originally recorded on a different piano then given the treatments by Mike.

This is an improved version. The kick drum and bass line are clearer, the unpleasant rumble has reduced - and the whole thing can be listened to even at high volume, which was probably impossible before. I think now it's more balanced version.
