JORDAN COUNSEL - PROGMATIC DEMO AUTUMN 24

This was the set I played on Halloween.  I held off on posting this set for several reasons.  Many of the tracks in this set were purchased not much more than an hour before this stream, and many of them I had decided to reuse for my Spooktakular V set for PRISM that was going to happen two days later.  (https://soundcloud.com/gje/prism-presents-spooktakular-v-day-2)  I didn't want this set taking the spotlight away from the Spooktakular set, so I held this one back for a while, reserved only for my Twitch subscribers.

Twitch Live Stream #264 - 2024.10.31 - Halloween Special

Released in 2010 on DJ Lucca's Sound of Acapulco label as part of the 5 Stars EP, "It Must Be Time" by Gabriel Ben quickly became a crowd favorite, standing out as a track with all the right elements to move the dancefloor. From its driving, relentless beat to its euphoric, uplifting energy, this track is a perfect example of how to blend peak-time techno and house grooves into an undeniable anthem.

The track kicks off with a deep, propulsive bassline that locks you in instantly, creating a groove that’s impossible to ignore. The crisp percussion and perfectly placed hi-hats keep things tight and rolling forward, building momentum with every bar. But it’s the way "It Must Be Time" layers in its melodic elements that really sets it apart.
