Been a minute since I played in public last. Back home in Gothenburg after a 2 & 1/2 yr stint in the north of Sweden and I couldn't have asked for a better place to be booked to play in upon my return than behind the barrels at Ivan's. Managed to stich together the recording of the set which featured some of my favourite deep and progressive house music mostly from last year which I didn't get a chance to play out. Hope you enjoy it!

About Astrek:

Melbourne-based DJ and producer Archie Sweeney, known as Astrek, has carved a niche in the city’s electronic music scene with his emotive and dynamic sound. Beginning his DJ journey fresh out of high school in 2016, Archie teamed up with his best friend Dion Paola, reviving Dion’s early start behind the decks. Together, they founded Wolftrax in 2018, a progressive house duo dedicated to pushing musical boundaries and creating captivating soundscapes for their audience.

Astrek’s sets and unique sound have been shaped by Melbourne’s rich electronic scene and the energetic festivals that sparked his passion for music. I am a UK born DJ, producer and general music junkie now based in Sydney. Growing up around the thriving underground music scene in Manchester it was easy for him to fall in love with underground music and soon journey from the dance floor to behind the decks.

Over the last 10 years I've jumped between playing the club circuit in Manchester, UK including Iconic club Sankeys and many more. Running my Hydration Longboat party series. Doing a stint on to the magical music isle of Ibiza further cemented my love for music.

I've hosted DJ shows for Easy Street, Pure FM radio (UK,  Just Vibes radio and Orbital radio and now play every second Friday on Bloop London Radio. My style is a mixture of electronica, progressive and melodic house, and deep house including jazz and funk. 

Now based in Sydney where I play as one half of the Dark Dreams Collective, co-founded with Forked Tongue. Launching our Black & White Techno nights and Conscious Rebellion Progressive house raves all over Sydney. Also working with the Sutra, Deep Repeat, Mind Sub & Renegade crews playing at the likes of Club 77, Burdekin, Goodbar and more.

Born on 07.01.1981 in Northern France

He was first influenced by early Hip Hop through his love of basketball & basketball culture but He quickly became interested in Electronic music after hanging out in clubs throughout Belgium.
His style is deeply influenced by black music such as Disco, Soul & Funk it is an eclectic mix of Funky & Soulful House, Deephouse, Jackin’ Beats and Nu Disco.

In 2005 he was Lightjockey, Dj and Organizer of PLAY IT at the Dunkerque Casino working alongside Dj Seb, Simon Templar, Tib & T-CED (Association Dunk’ Phenomena) and guest acts such as Turner Mandel, Franck Roger, Brothers & Sisters and DJ DEEP

He was involved in the expansion of the electronic music culture in Dunkerque organising events with artists such as Izmo, Huggy, Anton, MiSS GUL, Timothy Milton (BEL) and Kalky and was also Dj & Manager at L’Alelier #12.

In 2012 he moved to Thailand and obtained the residency at the highly successful venue OSKAR in Sukhumvit soi 11, Bangkok. He has since become the Dj Manager booking international acts such as Alton Miller, Christ Burstein, Widenski and Aberton and local Dj’s such as Sunjun Hargun, Fred Canal and Dan Buri

In 2013 he created a Soulful House event called “Light My Soul” playing alongside acts such as Simon 45 Joy, Mr Mike and Marc Sounderson & was also a member of the KEMF Crew (Kloud Electronic Music Festival) & Kloud 707

In 2014, he joined the famous Bangkok dj collective KOLOUR KREW alongside CORAN & KOISH 
(co-organizer of KOLOUR Events) playing at numerous venues around Bangkok.

He has now created a French Dj duo called “SACRES FRANCAIS” alongside his friend FRED CANAL and plans to tour Asia in 2016.

Tomas Bonilla, also known as “TomBon”, is a 29 year old DJ from Rosario.
Since his childhood, he has been involved in music thanks to the influence of his father who was a DJ in a renowned local nightclub.

At the age of 14, he began to dedicate himself professionally to his passion for electronic music, influenced by the sounds of the time. Over time, he has established himself as a very versatile and flexible DJ, capable of generating mixes suitable for any audience and place where he performs. Within his musical style, melodic and groovy sounds predominate, and his sets usually contain Organic House and Progressive House.

Currently, he is starting his career as a music producer, looking to create his own sound and leave his mark on the electronic scene, inspired by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Nick Warren, among others. With his ability to generate good climates on the dance floor and his characteristic musical style, TomBon has become a very promising DJ in the local electronic music scene.

He has shared with important local artists such as John Cosani, Servando, Alberico, Flor Palacios, Lu Ricondo, Matias Torres, Jota Zyzz, Outsiders, among others.
