RUTABAGARRE

I'm often looking for ways of producing drones that wouldn't be slave to beat. Human drones, but not just a 4-bar sample of it, looped.
I'm not yet making music again, but as a start I made myself a wind wand (drone) and tried recording it with different mic placing. You're free to make this one into a new song. CC0 applies here, you don't even need to mention me.
I took a design from youtube, and everything I could find at home to DIY one. The most difficult part was to find a long rubber strap (I ended up knotting 2 together). Wood, bamboo, rubber, plastic handle.
You could record that with a ribbon mic (in mono) for a perfect sound. Instead I used two (close)  condenser mics to get the sound of the metal washers, and accentuate the 'turning' feel.
