This planet, discovered in the distant future, is the place where I invite you to start a little journey with this music piece.

Almost the entire surface of Solaris is covered by a kind of ocean, which has the consistency of a syrupy, plasmatic mass. From foamy crowns, these form again and again huge, often very complex shapes, which stretch and solidify in the sky and later sink back into the ocean and dissolve:

That is the source of inspiration for this composition.
The science fiction novel SOLARIS by Stanislaw Lem is the wonderful book that tells this fantastic story and that I was already allowed to read as a little boy.

The mimetic and mathematical giant shapes that the ocean creates from frothy encrustations of its surrealist mass and grows above its surface are of bizarre imagery.
This ambient piece is an acoustic analogy here too.

A big thank you to Russian digital artist Alex Andreev for allowing me to use his great and eponymous image. When I first saw the image, I knew my ambient music piece and his wonderful artwork were made for each other. We as people are sometimes connected in an inexplicable way.
