More than a physical release Principles of Geometry wanted to materialize the musical lexicon of ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ into an object. This carefully conceptualized and designed artefact by legendary Ian Anderson might be the most advanced vinyl piece released by Tigersushi Records so far.
A triple vinyl of the 26 tracks with a very playful not playable etching on the last side .

"This is ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.

This album is a construct on the language which composes, and continues to compose, our musical lexicon. 26 letters represented by 26 titles creating a sonic grammar which has been our common thread through 5 albums now.

Signs, symbols and figures are our founding influences. This is where this alphabet finds its Alpha.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ is an evocation, almost an incantation, of influences that have shaped our musical and shared lexicon. A raw material, without which we would not have had the chance to meet and experience this twinning. This is also a song of the machine, and of the machines, an extension of the capacities of instruments, originating in the middle of the 90’s, when electronic music emerged, and should be listened to while listening to your inner self.

It is, for the two of us, the song of printed circuits, electronic dreams cradled by IDM (Intelligent dance music), which finds its expression in the compilations Artificial Intelligence of Warp Records, Braindance of Rephlex, and the abstractions of Skam and Planet Mu, of dream music under the influence, electronica in all its forms, the abstract analogue of the soundtracks of our childhood. A founding anthology in our work, but one which we have never addressed to this level and which, therefore, became our starting point.

We have always been seduced by the idea that music is a language, which contrary to the verb, is universal. Music doesn’t require the same resources: it evokes images, provokes emotion, no translation required.

It is for us a universal message, a thought without discord, without opposition, a sharing that helps us leave our own doom. A communion to extract us from the hysteria. Strangely, in its universality, its perception, its abstract interpretation, emotion, depends on the sensitivity and receptivity of each and every one of us.

An interpretation for infinite interpretations. It is a very personal and spontaneous album. A series of organic and synthetic landscapes. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ is not the symbol of one story as with our previous albums, but more a symbol of our common history, and certainly of those to come.

We are thrilled to announce the re-release of Rico Toto’s 1993 CD recording Fwa Épi Sajès. Mind melting synthesizers and drum machines fuse with ancient Guadeloupe Gwo-ka rhythms in this musical endeavour Rico Toto describes as “Electro-ka.” The improvised live instruments of the Moundjahka ensemble meld with electronic abstraction to create a psychedelic, immersive digital diaspora dream state. With nods to Jon Hassell's atmospheric soundscapes, YMO and Baldelli / TBC Cosmic mixtapes, this selection of songs encompasses an entire spectrum of moods and sounds. 

The A side begins with fourth-world tropical percussions, opening with sounds of nature in “Jungle Meditation” and leading into the downtempo summer synthpop jam “Yadadé.” The B side takes a darker turn, starting off with the deep chugging rhythms of “Rawal Pindi” and continuing even deeper with synth sounds and haunting vocals that culminates into the dreamy meditative final track, “Golgotha.”

Born in 1994, from Tokyo, a professional jazz pianist Hibiki Ueda who majored in jazz composition at Queens College Aaron Copoland School of Muisc in New York City, played an excellent 1st album ♪

The warmth and tenderness of the melody and the development of the music, which seemed to remind people of Pat Messany, were felt without any problems, and the composition sense conveys the extraordinary talent as an artist. The content is wonderful as if it were coming.

Shiori Sasaki (Participated in the works of Yuji Ohno including Lupine III while attending Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, and since then has been active as a vocalist while participating in live performances and recordings as a chorus of various artists such as Yumi Matsutoya, Yosui Inoue, and KinKi Kids. The album title songs M2 "The Fog Had Cleared Up" and M7 "Noticed" with) as vocals are pop, jazzy and electronic that fully utilize the voice quality of Shiori Sasaki's relaxed and unrelenting taste. A number that is very appealing to the balance.

M5 "Voyage" and M6 "Guns And Child" are outstanding songs that can be said to be the heart of this album, and "Voyage" is the radiance and exhilaration as if a ship sailing down the harbor at sunrise heads for a voyage. "Guns And Child" is a song that captures the hope and contradiction of the world with the artist's piano and ensemble, which is beautiful but ephemeral, but has a strong desire to move forward.

And M9 "Meaning of Freedom" is a song that quotes Rev. King's speech on the declaration of liberation of black slaves, and it is one of the artist's concepts, "I want to take some action on society in making sound". It is expressed by a danceable jazzy track with intonation.

The birth of a masterpiece that will be handed down later as "Hibiki Ueda's 1st album".

まるでパット・メサニーを思い起こさせるかのような人の耳に残るぬくもりと優しさに満ちたメロディーや楽曲展開があます事なく感じられ、その作曲センスにはアーティストとしての非凡な才能がひしひしと伝わってくるかのような素晴らしい内容になっている。

佐々木詩織（洗足学園音楽大学在学中よりルパン三世をはじめとする大野雄二作品に参加、以降松任谷由実や井上陽水、KinKi Kidsなど様々なアーティストのコーラスとしてライブやレコーディングに参加しつつ自身でもボーカリストとして活動）をボーカルに迎えたアルバムタイトル曲のM2「The Fog Had Cleared Up」及びM7「Noticed」は、佐々木詩織の伸びやかでほっておけないテイストの声質を十二分に生かしたポップでジャジーかつエレクトロニックなバランスがとても心惹かれるナンバー。

M5「Voyage」とM6「Guns And Child」は本アルバムの心臓部とでも言える抜群の楽曲、「Voyage」は朝焼けの港を帆を下ろした船が航海に向かっていくかのような晴れやかさと高揚感が感じ取れ、「Guns And Child」は世の中の希望と矛盾をアーティストのピアノとアンサンブルで美しくも儚いけれど前を向いて進みたいという強い意思が汲み取れる楽曲に仕上がっている。

そしてM9「Meaning of Freedom」はキング牧師による黒人の奴隷解放宣言の演説を引用した楽曲でアーティストのコンセプトの１つでもある《音を作る上で社会に対して何らかのアクションを起こしたい》という気持ちを抑揚を効かせたダンサブルなジャジートラックで表現している。

後に「Hibiki Uedaの1stアルバム」と語り継がれるであろう名作の誕生。

1994年生まれ東京都出身。5歳からクラシックピアノを始め、高校でジャズピアノを始める。洗足学園音楽大学のジャズ科に入学し学内バンドしわしわーずでピアノを担当し山野ビックバンドジャズコンテストを経験。
卒業後、単身ニューヨークに留学。ニューヨーク市立Queens College Aaron Copoland School of Muisc修士課程に入学。ジャズ作曲を専攻し、学内選抜バンドにピアニストとして参加、楽曲提供をする。また在学中にLouis Armstrong SATCHMO™ Awardに参加。卒業後、ニューヨーク市内クラブ、チャーチで演奏活動をする傍ら、日本人アーティストのイベント企画や自身のバンドのレコーディングにも着手。2020年に[Inner Thoughts][Night Sky]を発表。
また音楽活動とは別にニューヨークで表現者・アーティストの団体[yosemic]を日米で発起企業。
2020年に帰国後、映像音楽にも着手しアサヒスーパードライ工場ムービー楽曲提供、Google Play イベントOP動画楽曲提供、Ploom Tech WebCMの楽曲などを手掛ける。
